This is one of the best card magic downloads ever. The two tricks taught are masterpieces of deception. The methods, subtleties and presentations are refined to the point of high art. There is more here to learn than just another card trick.
(I'm echoing my review for Jared Kopf Collection 1 here) I had seen Jared perform at the Magic Castle a few times before purchasing his download bundle so I already knew about his mad skills. The instructions given on JKC 1&2 are clear, and concise, and the effects are superb! Such a valuable resource. Get this today.
I saw Jared teach his handling of triumph at The Session and this download is the perfect inexpensive way to learn the handling. The EG Brown trick was a great bonus item for me too.
I saw Jared perform this at Session 2019 and was very impressed. Easy to perform Triumph...well easier than the classic method. Jared presented it in the person of Dai Vernon on stage - which made the effect a memorable piece of theatre. My one suggestion is that Jared's video could include step-by-step instructions for the handling, useful for those newer to card magic and unfamiliar with moves that more experienced magicians would know. For example, how to cut the card to the top of the deck when it's just been inserted into the middle of the pack. I realise this effect is not aimed at beginners, but it would make the instructions a complete package for all abilities. Great stuff otherwise. Recommended.
I bought this based on being pleased with Collection 1. I like the Triumph, but it's for table work. I especially like the thought of card trick, easy and practical. I recommend this and Collection 1.
I really like Jared's triumph routine. The spreading of cards, one half FU and the other FD is truly convincing. Easy to do and very much a fooler. I like to give the cards a downward bend to start the trick and then to get a break in the routine just squeeze the short ends and the break open up nicely. If you like the triumph routine then definitely get this.
