Reviewed by Jared KopfOne of the better methods to come out in many years is Dani DaOrtiz’s Open Triumph, which has now been released on DVD by Groupokaps Studios. A challenge from Juan Tamariz inspired DaOrtiz to come up with a method that can cleanly display the face-up/face-down nature of the pack. Ortiz added a few further goals. He aimed to use normal cards, a genuine shuffle, and displays that simulate the way real people spread through and fan out playing cards. With Open Triumph, DaOrtiz meets every criterion.
I love Dani DaOrtiz's style and especially that he goes into such detail about the psychology of handling this. He gave me everything I needed to be performing this crazy good Triumph.
Wow, this Triumph is super duper clean to watch. No cuts, no shuffles, no funny business. Just a snap of the fingers and the cards right themselves. It's an eye grabbing visual and it gets gasps. It's what magic should be!
