Great pad at a great price. It holds up well to the rigors of travel--it rolls up quite tightly and doesn't take up much room in your case. I have hauled mine virtually across the country, shoving it in small suit cases and it shows little wear and tear. I like the surface for especially coins and cards. The rubberized bottom keeps the pad from shifting while performing or practicing.

This pad has a really good quality, specially for its price. I didn't seem to much different from the economy version for me, while the deluxe one is much thicker, so it really depends on what you prefer. It helps a lot with many cards and coins sleights.

This pad gets the job done. It has a good thickness to it considering the price tier, and seems to hold up well after rolling it. I would never advise trying to fold it, but when rolled properly its still great when flattened out. The rubber at the bottom is strong and this is a nice surface to practice with.

it's very nice perfect for card and coin magic, quiet and smooth.

I would recommend getting a bigger size it's worth the money.

if you need a pad this is the one.

I loved the product! it is of very high quality and very cheap to buy, excellent for training and working, great for anything you want to do with it! I recommend the standard close-up pad for everyone!

I purchased the large black pad, and it has helped me out already with many tricks. Really helpful for things like chop cups, where you kind of have to slam something down on the table and don't want to break your props. The mat is also nice for presentation, as it turns the table into a "magic show" surface. Essentially it's a giant mouse pad, but that doesn't make it any less effective.

  • Kim asks: im not quite sure of the difference between these standard pads and the deluxe pads, could you please enlighten me?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: Primarily, the thickness. Standard pads are thinner, while the deluxe pads are thicker.
  • Caleb asks: Are the measurements in inches?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds: 16.0 x 11.0 x 0.3
  • Janner asks: Will the top layer peel from the rest if improperly used? I bought a pad once (NOT from VI) that was just glued together and it broke pretty easily.
