Had heard great things about the Trevor Duffy close up pad. Of all the items delivered by Vanishing Inc, this was the only one which was extremely poor quality. To begin with, this does not have any packaging, not even a plastic wrap. It came heavily creased and bent. I was told to leave it as it is and it will get back in shape, but that didn't help. It is just unusable. The crease and ridges look permanent.

The mat came as mentioned in the above review with permanent wrinkles across the mat . At least 4 to 5 wrinkles. I would not recommend them .

This is a follow up on my previous review. My mat did come wrinkled/creased in the mail. I was advised to let it lay flat . After 2 days the creases went away . The mat was very good and useable once I did that.

At this size this will not be you table-to-table mat but it does serve as a great practice mat for home and can definitely serve as a great top to put on your performing magic table.
Arrived in a flat box, well packed, no wrinkles.

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:The Trevor Duffy mats are very thin—but I don't think they compare to the Murphy's mats, as they have three layers (whereas the Duffy mat is two). Both styles are well made. I hope that helps!
