Coin Clip

The Coin Clip is a century-old utility device, famously popularized by Slydini in the 1950s and '60s as the ultimate silent method for vanishing (lapping) a quantity of coins without noise or spillage. In the 1980s, Christian Scherer redesigned this classic tool, making it significantly easier to handle and perfectly sized to manage four half dollars, allowing for more natural and deceptive handlings.
This modern clip is a small, tensioned piece of stainless steel that tightly grips the coins you slide inside, enabling you to silently dispose of them as a single, manageable unit. The new design comfortably holds four half dollars (with adjustable tension for similar coin stacks) and features strategically placed holes for integration with a pull or a loop.
Alongside the clip, you'll receive comprehensive video instructions teaching you everything you'll need to know about the gimmick. It covers common methods and little-known applications for both close-up and stage magic. You'll learn:
- Methods for Coin Insertions
- Methods for Hand Steals
- Hand To Hand Toss
- Methods for Lapping
- the Almost Perfect Vanish
- Methods for Sleeving
- Topit
- NOW-U-IT Vanish
- Methods for the Pull
- Methods for the Pendulum Principle/Upside-Down Topit
- and much more!
Comes with a stainless-steel coin clip that is around 1.5" x 1" x .25" inches (3.8cm x 2.5cm x 1cm) and access to a video tutorial with many applications by Christian Scherer, Dr. Michael Rubinstein, John Cornelius, and Meir Yedid. A Meir Yedid Magic product.
