Let's turn back the clock 400 years to when this classic of magic started being performed...

You show two ropes, and three beads and ask your spectator to thread beads onto the ropes and hold the beads in their hands. You then tie the ropes onto the back of their hands, securing the beads in their hands. Incredibly, the beads melt through the ropes, whilst your spectator is holding onto everything.

There are no gimmicks, and no real sleight of hand. Everything can be examined before and after your performance.

Magic is at its strongest when the effect happens in the spectator's hands.
