Con Cam Coincidencia

The trick that helped Shin Lim win America's Got Talent!
Con Cam Coincidencia is merely a card trick, but when performed well it can be a remarkable piece of showmanship. The effect requires the participation of three individuals and takes no more than four minutes to perform. The end result is nothing short of a miracle.

Since it's impromptu and it requires no sleight of hand, you can do this effect with every deck under any conditions, as long as you have three spectators to fool badly. Thanks Paul

Two hours later I’m out with eight magicians having beers and wings. I only know one of these guys well and met two of them only once. We’re all taking turns with impromptu stuff. One of them hands me a deck and dares me to go for it. Those borrowed cards felt like they were locked, loaded and the safety was off. I handed them back and asked, "Did you shuffle?" The chase was on.
They scrutinized every move. Each moment became more and more confusing and the chatter around what was happening just buzzed. The consensus was that there was no possible way I could find the card. Still, the tension built and built.
By the end, it was like watching them watch a train coming at them in a tunnel in slow motion...and I was the Engineer! The first revelation knocked them over. The kickers crushed them into the ground. This totally fried the room.
The best part came afterwards watching them trying to process whether or not I was lying when I stated that I downloaded it just two hours before the party and that it is really a piece of cake.
Probably my new favorite card trick. At any rate, it is a first-class challenger-converter for sure.
Highly recommended.
Terrific.
Terrific.
I normally us a DMC Elite deck to make part of it easier and cleaner but it’s not needed if you prefer not to use that type of deck. This can be done with a borrowed deck. It’s something that every working card magician should have in their repertoire.
Don't overlook R.Paul Wilson's excellent tips and pointers. Such a great teacher of magic.
????????
Will for sure be part of my repertoire, loved it at first sight
The procedure is so incredibly simple--even simpler than most John Bannon Move Zero tricks. There are no sleights to speak of and not even a mathematical principle involved. Just presentation and a little audience management.
It is so basic that I am kicking myself for not being able to figure out how it was done. All that said--this is why construction and presentation of a trick are so important and Paul Wilson is a master at this.
What's more, is that this trick kills! I do not do card tricks for money; I'm an amateur and do them just for family and freinds. With three participants and four observers and about a million dollars of higher education among them, they were all blown away. The only problem with it is that after doing this trick (you know, the one that took the least effort on my part), nothing I could do with a deck of cards seemed all that impressive.
Just as some of the most important things in life are free, apparently some of the best magic is sleight free. Highly, highly recommended.

So many great tips in audience management to ensure it's fluid as possible as well as a great question during the explanation which leads to even more great ideas that can be transferred over to other effects too.
Impromptu, from a shuffled deck with an excellent kicker - this is a no brainer!

BEST OF ALL can be done impromptu!!!!
1. The "lead" participant peeked the card.
2. The choosing and distribution of the four packets was done slightly differently.
IMO, both Lin's and Wilson's handlings work equally well.
I can't wait to use this at my next Club meeting.

I deduce one star because I think it could have been a much better product if they put more heart into it. There are only about 12 minutes of explanation. On a self working trick like this the hiding of the method(s) and the performance are key. Why not going through different ways of finding the card? Why not helping the buyer with the presentation? 12 minutes of explanation, in my eyes, is just lazy.
The download is so well shot and Paul Wilson’s teaching of it is so good. He provides clear and detailed instructions that are easy to follow.
I have no regrets purchasing this routine. It’s pure gold!
Based on an idea by Juan Tamariz.
Very well explained and performed
Creates strong reactions when using a good presentation.
I will add it to my repertoire for impromptu situations.
Totally recommended.
Might take some practice to do it as smoothly as
Dan.
I will try it tomorrow night

Instruction video is to the point at only 16mins, I say that not as a bad thing, as it has all you need to learn and perform the effect.

asks: How long does the preparation take to perform this trick? I’m assuming the preparation isn’t an instant reset?

- 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:Normal deck
Larry asks: The video shows 3 adults helping. Are any of the 3 in on the trick?
- 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:No. There are no stooges involved at all. And the best bit? It's so easy to do a kid could do it!
asks: Is the trick repeatable or does it take preparation away from the participants?
- 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:It could be repeated, but we'd not recommend repeating any tricks really.
Nigel asks: Could this performed with two participants ( plus performer) rather than 3?
- 1. James responds:In theory, yes, but it would be better with three participants.
Jonathan asks: Is there "no" sleight of hand .... or "very little" sleight of hand?
- 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:No sleight of hand.
