Dead Lock

This is one of the most funny magic tricks I've ever seen. Hahaha. I got frightened by the "BANG!" as well :) Great trick, definitely worth to buy and show to your friends.

When the first saw this trick I thought it was accomplished by using the 'Raise Rise' sleight, however. After I bought it I soon found at that it's actually 10 times easier than I imagined. A beginner can do it!

This trick is great, so glad I decided to buy it and will definitely continue to use this. I look forward to more from Mr. Stern

Amazing Trick! More simple than it looks like!!

Being a friend of Stern's I have seen him do this trick at the Magic Castle a few times. I never figured it out until now! It's a great trick that he really thought out well. Buy it now!

This effect is great, Michael showed me a few months ago and it's great! The method is surprisingly simple and fun! A defenite must buy!

I can't articulate how much fun this trick is to perform in front of friends, it's truly hilarious, and Michael Stern's take (and patter) on a fairly basic move is amazing... Love it, lots of fun! :) I highly recommend it, especially for beginners!

Great effect and it's not remotely knuckle-busting, but it might require more dexterity than the description and some of the reviews lead you to believe ("a beginner looking to dabble"). As you can see in the video, you need a good mechanic's grip (to hold the deck straight when you lift it), you need to be able to dribble smoothly, and you really need to be able to fan the cards smoothly at the end to sell it. No difficult sleights, but it will take some practice in front of a mirror to get the moves right and look as good as Michael. It's nothing unreasonable, but don't impulse buy thinking you'll have it down five minutes after watching the video.

This trick is so simple, but still get's great reactions. It is a steal for $4.95.

This effect is a very strong piece of magic. It is quite simple, but it will require practice to execute smoothly. The teaching in the video is excellent, so there should be no problems learning the trick. I am very happy that I purchased this.

This is such a great trick because it takes such a simple idea, and makes it so strong. One of the things I learned was changed into something so strong! I highly recommend this!

This totally fooled me when I first saw it, and I knew I had to have it. The method is simple, and the change is visual. The only issue I have with this effect is the angles, but this problem is solved very quickly with a simple cleanup. Definitely a must buy for anyone looking for a quick opener. The method is taught well by "My Turn" and Michael brings some great tips for most issues a magician might have during performing. Must buy!!
