Any performing magician knows the value of a deck switch. However, it is a relatively under-explored area of study.

Ernesto Melero has devised a remarkably clever deck switch which is designed to be performed while stood up, on an off-beat. We have watched Ernesto fool magicians over and over by switching decks with this method.

Any serious card magician will be inspired by this move. Ernesto demonstrates that by thinking outside of the box (no pun intended), it’s possible to accomplish a totally invisible deck switch in the context of a parlor show.

Customer reviews for Deck Switch (Ernesto Melero)

While it is short he goes in depth one the moves you have to do. It’s high quality, easy deck switch. This is a very good deck switch for walk around or close up. It will take some practice but it’s definitely worth the money.
James
Very good deck switch for the standing position. Well explained.

Ernesto does a good job explaining his great method. It's easy to do and really clever. It's super cheap as well so it's totally worth your money. I've done a deck switch for years but haven't had to use the old methods since I learned Ernesto's.

Very interesting deck switch. I like the fact that you do it in your hands and standing. You don’t need to be sitting behind a table although you could be if you prefer to do it that way. It is a little angle dependent but with a little misdirection, there shouldn’t be any problem. I am not sure what is the motivation or the reason for retrieving the pen although anything you have in your pocket would cover the ditch. You could just ditch the deck in your pocket while turning your body. Overall it is pretty easy and looks great (you don’t see it) and that is why I like it.
