We ALL wish we could do a flawless Zarrow Shuffle. But you know what? VERY few people do. Even well-known magicians do the shuffle in a merely "serviceable" way that really wouldn't pass scrutiny. Enter Doug Edwards. As you can see in this trailer, his Zarrow is PERFECT. It is indistinguishable from a real shuffle, and that is EXACTLY what he teaches. But how?

Briefly, here's the story. Doug learned the Zarrow Shuffle from Herb himself, and picked up a small touch that Herb didn't often employ. It's called the Top Card Bow, and we've already said too much. But this critical, always-overlooked detail brings the shuffle a quantum leap forward, from "okay" to absolutely perfect.

This is great news for us. This means that for those of us who have tried, unsuccessfully, to learn a Zarrow, we finally have the missing piece. And for those who always wanted to learn, this download covers the move in its entirety, from start to finish. There were six people present as Doug filmed this download, and by the end of the filming, EVERYONE was on their way to a truly "perfect" Zarrow. We anticipate that this wonderful tutorial could become our most popular download to date, because it COMPREHENSIVELY teaches a move that so many wish to add to their card toolbox.

Running time: 9 minutes, 21 seconds.

Seriously guys. This is a crazy helpful video with some great points on perfecting this shuffle. It is to good to share. Please remove it from your site.
Richard
My home wifi network is named ZarrowShuffle (I’ll give you the password when you visit), such is my devotion to the move! This video is more than worth the price of admission for just one little tip that allows a Zarrow under a single card to be performed both slowly and deceptively! As a bonus, if you already do a Zarrow, adding “the little touch” takes almost no practice.
That said, let me put in a plug for my FAVORITE version of the Zarrow. It’s “Method No. 2“ found on page 109 of Frank Garcia’s 1972 book Million Dollar Card Secrets. It’s significantly more challenging than the basic move, but has the advantage of a VISIBLE mix as the cards are reassembled! Give it a look and see if you like it! In my experience the Edwards version and the Garcia version the best two versions I know of. Choosing between them is a matter of personal preference.

Get this now! After watching this one great subtlety, my Zarrow improved greatly! This a no brainer. Instead of spending years trying to make a Zarrow perfect using standard covers, watch this to get it perfect within weeks or even just days. Great price; it really is one of the best downloads ever. Wholeheartedly approve with a passion.
Roberto
The Best Zarrow I've ever seen taught in the best way possible. Perfect!

This will help you with the Zarrow Shuffle, it's the real deal! I've been practicing the ZS for a couple of years and after a few minutes practicing the technic explained on this download, my false shuffle look way much better than before!

Don't think about it, just buy it.
Donald
I purchased this download after hearing about it from some friends. After watching it, I thought the material was excellent. My Zarrow Shuffle improved dramatically after applying the tips the Doug Edwards showed in the video. Highly recommended for anyone looking to master a deceptive Zarrow Shuffle.
Iain
This is excellent, and is totally compatible with the Steve Reynolds handling on his awesome video on here too. If you're wondering whether a 9 minute video is worth the $10, it TOTALLY IS. :-)
Gonzalo
Really cool variation of the zarrow shuffle, makes it quite invisible, even done slowly. Short video but the move is explained well. Even if you do not know the zarrow before this video I would say you will have no issue learning it with this download. My favorite method for this shuffle.
John
Awesome!
Sebastien
nice tip, but if like me you have Harapan Ong masterclass, a bit redundancy
Giuseppe
This is a wonderful touch on the Zarrow shuffle which is rarely analyzed in other sources. Zarrow tips it in his video but it's not discussed in such specific details. Wonderful job by Edwards. Love it!
Jason
I really like Doug's teaching on this version of the move - Very approachable for anyone starting out with Herb's great move.
Todd
10 minutes long, effective, but wish there was more detail relative to price. A few places where he says let me show you this in more detail and then does it again, and the detail isn't really enough to give you any more than what you already had. So, good, effective (great addition to the move) but teaching could be improved a bit.
Kevin
Excellent tutorial! Doug Edwards takes his time and shows patiently how to excite this move with precision and concise instruction!! The move is not that difficult to learn but will still require some severe practice and attention. Big thumbs up!!
Richard
Excellent points on how one might acquire a very nice and convincing Zarrow shuffle. This is a completely different way of approching the Zarrow, than how it was taught in Vernon's Inner Card Trilogy, achieving an extremely dissarming full-deck control. It also enables the user to apply the shuffle to a wide variety of effects, which may have not been as convincing otherwise. I would highly recomend Nukes, as well as his other video Card Star! PS: If you liked this: Check out Brass Nunckles and Pack's A Wallop!

This technique looks ok, I still prefer shuffling under a block of cards for more of a nature cover. This method looks too obvious - but fun to practice.

Love this kind of stuff
Richard
A short but very clear and useful explanation of the Zarrow shuffle. Particularly helpful after having studied the much longer description in Herb’s book, and the Gary Plant explanation as well. This seemed to click for me when combined with that other study, to give me something that I begin to feel is properly low-key and deceptive.

This is very clever and convincing and I have heard good things about it. My old hands just may be able to do this fooler! Quite deceptive and the directions are very easy to follow. You can't beat it for the price and I hope to utilize it soon, as I need a convincing false shuffle no one will catch me at!
Bernard
Straight forward and to the point. It’s always useful when experts share the little nuances that make routines flow the technical proficiency and fluidity of Each movement is great to observe we well. I also think that practicing the techniques will definitely make the shuffling seem natural. I look forward to trying it out a few times and seeing it in action.
Tony
Good tutorial
Roman
The technique shown is very good. The only problem is that your Zarrow should ideally match your regular shuffle. If you don't normally use a very open riffle you probably should use a different Zarrow.
Brian
Funny shuffle trick

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. I found this video to be practically unwatchable due to an annoying echo or delay effect. Don't know which, and I really should. It was only a buck, so, no harm done. Happy Holidays to all.
Daniel
Clear & to the point. Will definitely help my Zarrow. Camera work would have been served by a stable chest-high view from performer pov, & keeping Doug's hands in frame. Overall good & the price (yay, Black Friday!) was righteous.
Michael
The absolute best Zarrow Shuffle I have ever seen...and the absolute best EXPLANATION AND INSTRUCTION of the Zarrow Shuffle (or of anything really) I have ever seen!

Clear (repetitive) instructions with lots of "Hows" and "Whys" REPETIVIELY being incorporated into each instruction being given so that the viewer not only gets reinforcement of each point, the viewer will suddenly have an "AH-HA!" cerebral experience when the "Hows" and the "Whys" merge and become a single memory now rationally UNDERSTOOD and now PERMANENTLY embedded into his brain.

As I began to understand (and retain) these cumulative small instructions, as they merged into a single uninterrupted happening, I cannot adequately express the feeling of exhilaration and confidence that came over me as everything meshed together into a single uninterrupted "action"!

Now THAT'S the way to teach. If Doug is not a teacher, he must change occupations and become one. He makes learning both exciting and confidence-building. Our county definitely needs more teachers like Doug.

Other than that, just another boring Sunday afternoon as I ate my pizza and watched my football team lose again. (grin)

A Dollar? Seriously? A holiday gift from Vanishing Inc. The Zarrow shuffle, like most things, has some inherent flaws. This download has some concepts that address common weaknesses with the Zarrow. Get it and work on your shuffle. Life is too short for an ugly Zarrow shuffle.

Marc
Now I will learn the Zarrow shuffel correctly and I also will use this in my magical repertoire when I shuffel the cards and I want that they are in the original order. I thank you to share this wonderfull shuffel with he magic community. Magician entertainer Mister "M" from belgium.
Ron
Great explanation on how to do it.
A. Wade
Great video instruction on the Zarrow shuffle!!
Alexander
It was great.
Always wanted to learn the Zarrow Shuffle!
Now all I have to do is Practice A LOT 🥹
Bob
Very well explained
Mark
Every new magician needs to know a false shuffle, and the Zarrow Shuffle is one of the best! But, even if you know the Zarrow, Mr. Edwards shows you a way to make it look truly invisible. He shows you a subtlety he learned from Zarrow himself! Plus, as a bonus, he adds a Zarrow shuffle that keeps the reds separate from the blacks. An absolute necessity for the classic “Out of this World” trick!
Tom
Concise, clear and game-changing teaching on the Zarrow Shuffle: highly recommended!
Gerhard
Always wanted to learn this as its one of the best false shuffles out there but haven't been able to get a very good instruction on it. This download solved that problem. This is covered in great detail and absolutely worth the money. Highly recommend this.
Richard
Why not use an over the shoulder camera most of the time.
Awkward twisting to demonstrate!
Mark
This is a move that has always impressed me but I've never felt like I've learned it properly. I love the way Doug demystifies the process using a simple subtlety. In under 10 minutes my zarrow is already looking better
Vincent
It really is the perfect Zarrow shuffle.
Stefan
This is a great value, especially if you pick it up during a sale like Black Friday. While the download is on the shorter side, the explanation is very clear and easy to follow. It could have been a bit longer, but it’s an excellent supplement to other resources. I always find it helpful to see different perspectives on the Zarrow, and this is definitely a solid one to add to your library.

Doug Edwards on the Zarrow Shuffle is an exceptional deep dive into one of the most deceptive and practical false shuffles in card magic. Edwards teaches with clarity precision and real world context making the mechanics accessible yet profound. His breakdown of subtleties timing and hand positioning turns what often feels technical into something that flows naturally in performance. Every nuance from spectator angles pacing to misdirection is covered with thoughtful explanations that help you not just learn the technique but understand how and why it works. This instruction will elevate your card control greatly and give you a powerful addition to your routine that looks organic and utterly convincing in actual play.
Bernard

This is a really good tutorial for a zarrow, it contains lots of good tips. My zarrow improved a lot after this. It is worth it. You will be able to use this zarrow in many effects. Stop reading this and buy it now.

WOW! Five stars isn't enough! I purchased Herb Zarrow's videotape when he taught his shuffle in depth with a group of friends present to help him remember the details. I worked on the shuffle for awhile but it never was natural. Bill Malone taught a simplified version that was helpful and yet because there was enough happening, I never reached the point where it was automatic enough so that I could remain focused on the performance. I had given up on the Zarrow Shuffle. Doug Edwards teaches a new detail that makes the shuffle invisible plus eliminates the card control precision of the original shuffle. As I watched him teach his extra detail, I saw other details that he doesn't directly talk about which address problems I had. I guess if a person feels he has mastered the Zarrow Shuffle, this video is not too exciting but I would question how deceptive their shuffle really is. For me, this motivates me to start practice again.
