To my opinion the idea of the trick is visual and clever. You have to take into consideration that you have to construct a gimmick card yourself. If you are completely new to making flap cards (as I was before) you should know that you will need some components you have to buy separately. There is a crucial point in making the gimmick where you have to separate layers of a card. I was not able to do that until I watched FLAP by Hondo - a very useful video tutorial in which basic technics of making flap cards are explained.

I will not rate this download excellent because of two reasons:
First: The last part of the demo video in which Constantine does the colour change of the last third of the card without touching this part and sliding his hand over the part does not work with my gimmick because of the nature of the binding (it autoflips immediately). Maybe I misunderstood something in the explanation video. The problem is that there are no voice explanations in the video, no subtitle explanations and no exact list of the used materials (e.g. which sort of thread is used).
Second: The quality of the video is really poor, in particular when close-ups are taken. You have to watch several parts of the video again and again to figure out what is done. The quality is just like that you are able to guess what is done.

This is a good trick that could be a great trick. As it stands, you will probably not present this as a piece of close up magic, the gimmick stands out even under dim lighting. If you are going to get this routine, also search out Hondo Chen's instructional videos (you'll know which to get after you buy this) and you will be able to construct this gimmick with MUCH better quality to use even up close. With the correct construction and performance this is a beautiful and visual piece. A note about the video, there is no voice-over (or even sub-titling!) and it is of mediocre to poor quality.
