Customer reviews for Giraffe Switch
The description is generous in that it says that it will be more difficult than I think it really is.
Practice? YES! but no, not technically one of the harder moves I've learned. it's more of a move that takes a lot of repetition to really just get the moves down. I found myself doing it right away, very sloppy, but again, the work will be in just getting it down smoothly, as I did it correctly within a few tries!
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Even after years as a magician I'm very right handed so I might have to learn it using my right hand first. I find that often helps.
It looks like a complicated version of a classic sleight but I can see that it has advantages, especially when using more than one card.

Miles asks: Does this card switch change the position of the card? or just make cads swap positions? For example, if the card you are changing is in the 21st position when you change it will the new card still be in the 21st position? Thanks!
- 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:It all depends on what you want to do, but the card can end up in the same position if need be.
Dennis asks: I’m an olde person with some arthritis in my hands. Will this rule out someone like me to be able to do the switch? Thank you.
- 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:Unfortunately, this is a bit of dadvanced sleight of hand that might be difficult for your hands.
Kurtis asks: If the video is less than 15m how can It be teaching in great detail ? The best videos I’ve watched are 30m-1hr+ long and really go in teaching and explaining. 15m doesn’t seem long enough to me.
- 1. Andreas responds:A 1 hour long Video for 1 move? Come on. It's not a bottom deal masterclass, it is a switch and you come up with the routines yourself.
- 2. Cosmo responds:Watching this, I see a brilliant idea, and the execution is great. I can basically see what the move is, but getting the details and the work is definately worth the $14. I would HOPE that the video goes through everything in a shorter time. 15 minutes seems more than enough. Thats what pause and rewind are for. I'll post a review, I'm purchasing this now.
- 3. Cosmo responds:just got it... I'm four minutes in and I totally get it. there's NINE minutes left and if he goes into any real detail here, then its a bonus. could I learn this by watching just the four minutes? Yes, but I'd have to watch it over and over, as I watched the rest of the video, he's more than covered all you could possibly need to know. EXCELLENT MOVE, GREAT tutorial.
Gerald asks: How difficuilt is it ?
- 1. Andreas responds:According to the newsletter: "Is it easy? No. Is it super hard to perfect? Also no."
