Ben Earl caused a SENSATION last year when we released his Less is More hardbacked book, as well as his deck-switching treatise. People know him for beautiful and intricate sleight-of-hand. Today we present a new side of Benjamin Earl, with two ENTIRELY self-working card tricks, each one an exquisite example of smart construction and subtlety.
Ram Jollock - An INSANE magician-fooler, this effect requires absolutely no sleight-of-hand at all. ANY pack can be used and this is what happens: a spectator cuts anywhere into a deck and remembers the card he cut to and IMMEDIATELY replaces the packet back so the full deck is square. The cards are cut and shuffled multiple times by the spectator, and then the selection is moved anywhere he likes in the pack. When you take back the deck, you can immediately spread through and remove the chosen card.
Red Herring - In a completely free manner a pack of cards is shuffled and a card is remembered. The pack is then given any number of shuffles and cuts, and yet the performer is able to instantly find the selected card.

It´s so bad so save your money........... ;)
This is so good so i ´ll cry, easy to do and it will make you look like a card pro !!
Thanks Ben Earl !!!!
There are thousands of things taught in these videos, besides the main technique/trick you purchase. Things that will serve any magician, any professional, to achieve great things in anything they undertake.
There are tricks, and there are University Degree offerings, in the magic world. Most of the tricks will be forgotten, when not tossed to the trash, eventually, but these jewels will remain in our arsenal for a lifetime.
I learn to love magic again, a deeper love, a stronger love, an even more committed bond and responsibility after I saw this two videos. I long for more nurturing material like this. Thank you for making these available to all of us.
Chapeau.
Two thumbs up and a twist!
Note, that Ramjollock is the harder of the two, being a bit finicky at first to learn, but with a bit of practice its mechanics can be learned with precision. Ben teaches expert manipulation of a spectator, and his insight is well worth the price of the download.
One could just buy these downloads for the tricks and be done with it, however I feel there's more value in trying to understand his way of thinking behind the tricks and what makes them strong.
Highly recommended for both novices and the more advanced, and can definitely recommend getting the bundle instead of buying them singly, as you can learn 2 completely different methods for locating a selected card.
i highly recommend this ‘impossible’ bundle.
You have no skills in slight of hands, vanishing cards or similar things. But you are looking for „something with cards“.
Well, this was my starting point.
To make it short: in case you are at the same skills-position like me „Impossible by Benjamin Earl“ is something for you.
My rating: worth the money because it is not the usual stuff and relatively easy to learn.
A Great teacher, Geat card magic.

I thought Ramjollock was an interesting trick that gives your audience even more control of the deck. Red Herring is another one that can be done shorter or longer, so with your own presentation. I think I would've added another cut and/or shuffle just for the fun of it. I remained fooled until I finally watched the effect (just now) and feel this is one I can do. I think this one is much easier than Ramjollock and possibly even more impressive.
I have always loved tricks that have methods that are as fun for me as the trick (hopefully) is for the spectator. Both of these do — the secret for each is remarkably simple, but the presentation is ingenious. As an extra bonus, the interplay between the two gentlemen on the video is so delightful I’ve watched it more than a few times just to watch them!
On the other hand, "Red herring" is ready to be performed straight from a borrowed deck on a moment's notice, is completely self-justified in its procedure, and doesn't require any moving of the card after it's genuinely and thoroughly shuffled by the participant. It won't fool magicians, but it's gotten reliably positive reactions from laypeople.
Both tricks rely on principles that are deceptively simple and very easy to apply to other material. All in all, this download is very worthwhile.

Jim asks: What is the difference between the two effects?
- 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:From a general effect perspective, they are the same: a card is selected, then lost, then found. From a procedural perspective, there are many psychological details that make the audience 100% sure that you can't find the card. From a methodological perspective, each effect utilizes a completely different method. I hope that helps!
