Jacob's Ladder

Straight from the Danny Garcia Project comes Jacob's Ladder. A borrowed bill melts through a rubberband, in the spectator's hands, right in front of their face. Street magic doesn't get cleaner or more powerful than this, and Danny expertly explains every second of the routine - not only how, but why it works.

I just dabble a bit in the Art with family and friends; and getting older, so knuckle-buster moves are history. This is a simple delight that is well worth the small investment made, and has a monster in-your-face visual.
A LONG time ago, I purchased 2 Dollar Window from Mr. Garcia, and for the money+fooling factor, is one of the best tricks I ever got. He continues the tradition with this easy yet mind blowing trick. Thanks, Daniel!

An easy to perform, perfect close-up effect with strong impact. If you do rubber band magic, then you simply must learn how to perform Jacobs Ladder. Michael Giblin, Sydney, Australia
Anthony
What a great idea. I'm looking forward to perfecting and performing this very soon.
Ken
Brilliant! This will be added to my repertoire of rubberband effects. Great for those moments when someone says, "Show me some magic."
Tony
Great trick and awesome instructions. Easy to perform just practice practice and practice some more.

AMAZING! This is super visual, no gimmicks and is great for the tricks you are always carrying. Most people carry a rubber band but you can borrow the bill and leave the rubber band with them. This is everything I hoped this to be.
Brook
As always awesome

Daniel Garcia can certainly entertain. The things he can do with ordinary items, like a rubber band and a dollar bill, is impress along. Add some comedy and use of appropriate patter and gestures earns himself a five-star review. The trick he performs here is ingenious. One move will require a touch of practice but, overall, this is almost a self-working trick.
Juan
great effect. easy to do and awesome to impress.
Peter
Magical! Loved it!
Wyatt
TL;DR: Great effect, just begging to be routined with other close-up band and bill magic.
This effect is incredible. Anytime, anywhere amazement with completely borrowed props.
About 180° angles in front.
The handling is concise, logical and very simple. I feel like this might work as part of a close-up set alongside Liquid Cash by Henry Harrius or work between Crazy Man’s Handcuffs and DJT’s Magical Mismade Bill as part of a close-up set.

Lovely trick. Taught well and easy to understand. What's not to love?
Mark
Great! Subtle but very effective and not hard.

When I watched this,I could not fathom how it was done. For $10.00,it's a no brainer. A bill and a rubber band, talk about packs small and plays big. Perfect for almost anywhere. This is an alternative too'Crazy mans handcuffs'',which is a must learn too. Daniel teaches everything you need to know. Well worth mastering this routine. It's not cards, and not coins! I cant wait to perform this at my local Starbucks, there is always their tip jar! A rubber band is a normal thing to have on person, too. Great effect!5 stars !!!
Kevin
Nice effect that can be done impromptu

I like dollar tricks and this can be added at the end or beginning of a folded bill trick. The explanation was quite clear and photography clearly showed the explanation. I would start with a normal bill, perform this simple miracle and talk about how magical the bill is. Make a simple bill change and change it to a gimmicked bill such as $1.00 fold change to $20.00 bill.

  • Wyatt asks: What are the angles on this?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:Very good. You don't want anyone directly behind you.
  • David asks: Will this work with English new plastic money

    • 1. David responds:Please ignore just read above
  • Roger asks: Will this work with any bill? Am thinking UK paper £20 or plastic £10 ?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:Yup. With polymer bills, you will just need to make sure the fold lines are created enough for the bill to hold its shape. (Pro tip: You can cover the bill with some greaseproof paper and iron them)
  • Elliott asks: Is this just a download? ie, nothing to wait for in the post? Thanks
