Master Pushoff - Download

This move will take time to get down, but the applications are endless. I was definitely hesitant at the price tag for one move, but it has been worth it. It is way more than one move that you get with this purchase, and there are tons of uses for the move. I highly recommend this download. It has changed the way I approach the double lift.

Overall I think this download is definitely worth your time and money. Andi offers a great deal of insight into his pushoff technique here. And the tricks section has lots of great examples about how to apply the pushoff move into different tricks and routines. I will say that, while this download has helped improve my technique, the move is ultimately very knacky. I have given it several weeks of diligent practice now and am still struggling to get the pushoff consistent enough to consider using in a performance. While I am by no means an expert, I am generally very comfortable with a deck of cards. Your mileage may vary but know that this is ultimately a very knacky move that will take a ton of practice.

Part 1 is an excellent overview of not only the master push off (a double push off with no get-ready), but also goes over a variety of techniques for the double push off and includes vital information on how to apply it to second and triple dealing--including one-handed doubles and triples--an double dealing and goes over a variety of these types of deals.

Andi Gladwin is an excellent and patient teacher. He does not dwell on any one topic for too long but his instruction is crystal clear. Ben Earl has a guest appearance helping demonstrate and teach a variety of double deals and methods to practice and perfect your double deal.

Andi is encouraging, describing the master push off as a 'knack' more than a skill. Still, it has taken me a great deal of time to reliably do a double push off this way and will take me a great deal longer before I am able to use the push off to deal doubles and triples naturally.

That said, this is one of those DVDs that is well worth the purchase price. The double lift is such a basic technique and one that needs constant practice and refining. This will give you another approach to a double lift.


Even if you decide against using the master push in front of an audience this is more about just learning a move.
Learning this move will have an impact on your approach to sleight of hand and open your mind to looking at different methods will apply to other areas of card magic. Highly recommended.

To put it straight: The Master Pushoff is a must-have. Even though I knew the mechanics behind the pushoff, I wasn't able to push off just two cards. It sounds like magic, but after watching Andi's instructions I tried again and was immediately able to push off two cards. Surely it needs practice to get the move down perfectly, but the instructions really helped me improve my technique within a few minutes. Furthermore Andi teaches a lot of beautiful controls that utilize the pushoff move.The trick section is great as well, but I would buy the Master Pushoff again, even if the tricks weren't included since the explanations on its own are definitely worth the money.

A thorough dive into the push-off and its practical applications. I'm glad I've started looking at this, as I was focused on the strike deal for seconds and had overlooked the true usefulness of learning to do push-offs for everything from turnovers to switches and deals. Thanks Andy.

So, real talk. I've been trying to second deal for quite some time, but the double pushoff has been, well, IMPOSSIBLE.

I watched the first 10 minutes of Volume 1 here and went and practiced for about 30 minutes and can now consistently push off just two cards. They aren't perfectly aligned, sometimes I push off 3 or 4, but legit Andi is a great teacher. Looking forward to working through this technique some more and what I can do with it. Really happy with this turn around.

Was unsure about the price point, but for the immediate turn around after few instructions leaves me very hopeful.

Easy to understand, easy to follow, but I've got lots of practice ahead me.

Simply amazing. I learned the double push-off with a pinkie break, but this is so much easier to get into, looks way better and has infinitely more uses. Everything is explained in great detail and you are given loads of ideas to experiment with. Definitely worth checking out.

Weather a beginner, or like me you think you no how to do push offs, and double lifts, this is still so worth watching this video, as there are variations and tips in this video that are worth learning, and once you no what to do you can practice these moves while watching TV.

I was looking for a nice and more natural looking double. This was recommended to me and I’m very happy I purchased it! The instruction was strait forward and provides trouble shooting as well if you’re having issues. It didn’t take too much practice and I had it down. I’m very happy with the purchase, it had made my double push off very consistent and I think it’ll only continue to get better. Now I’ll be on to the more advanced techniques that follow. Hoping to use this to deal seconds, but that will have a long way to go!

I purchased this download after Luke Jermay recommanded it in his release "You're only lying to yourself". Andi Gladwin's Master Pushoff should be purchased by anyone interested in second dealing or more generally multiple pushoffs. The technique isn't easy but after a few hours of practice you start getting the feel for the move, and it's really worth it. Andi Gladwin's teaching is great and the download is full of tips and details to easen the learning process and to get the best looking multiple pushoff possible. The rest is up to you and to how much practice you put into it.

I’m still pretty new to magic, but The Master Pushoff has helped me more than anything else I’ve tried. Andi Gladwin explains the move in a way that’s really easy to follow, and I was surprised by how many things this one technique can do. My double turnovers and basic handling already look cleaner, and I feel much more confident with a deck of cards. I had always struggled with the push off but the instructions from Andi are incredible and within about an hour after practice I am succeeding with this push off 90% of the time thanks to Andi's detailed instruction

Andi spends a great amount of time explaining this master pushoff and it paid off for me. I would say if you struggle with this move and want to get this down purchase this product and you will not struggle with this move as I once did.

Andi is a very good teacher and magician. With this video you will learn a move, which you can incorporate into almost any card magic and adapt to your needs. Andi will give you plenty of ideas, inspirations, and examples (tricks) to help you with this.

I learned the get ready double lift from the requisite Huggard books many years ago, and have used it for decades. I was intrigued by this, but skeptical. The benefits are obvious, but I was concerned it would be something that looked unnatural or just didn’t fit my style. I took a chance and I am pleased to say this is everything it claims to be - plenty of reviews to back that up.

Andi tells you right off you likely won’t get this immediately. Of course - you don’t expect to learn a new sleight instantly. I spent several hours just trying to get the basic sleight down, and it really seemed like I was making no progress at all. I really thought maybe I just can’t get this. Like 3 hours and no real improvement at all. Then, it just starts working. About 5 hours in and I am having to check if I really did it because I can’t see it - not 100% consistent at that point, but 80%, get the mirror and refine.

Your mileage will vary of course, but I am really glad I listened and stuck with this. So many things open up if you add this you your toolbox.
