Cards meet coins in this classic of magic that will baffle even the most learned minds of the art. In Chad's updated version of Roundtrip to Boston, coins vanish and reappear within a brass box on the table. This is by far one of the most aesthetic coin routines we've seen, and as such, we couldn't recommend it more.

This routine does require a Boston Coin Box.

I really enjoy this effect and I love how far ahead you get for the kicker ending. This is a real worker routine. Here is a link to my video review for this effect.

I am not a coin magician, but when I saw this routine, I couldn’t help but wanting to do it myself. The flow, the rhythm, the aesthetic look of it are outstanding, it truly is an exquisite piece of magic. In fact, I’m not even sure if this is a piece to show everybody. I would suggest saving it as something special for someone who can appreciate classy stuff.

I saw Chad Long perform Okito Reversembly as a closer to his lecture a good 20 years ago. When the coins reappeared under the cards at the conclusion, my mouth (and everyone else's mouth who was in attendance) dropped. It's not an easy routine, but by no means is it unreasonable. Once you get the routine down proper there are many opportunities to add your own creativity. I agree with one of the previous reviews that mentions it's a routine that should be shared with a group that truly loves magic. It's a real performance piece that can be quite a reputation maker. And as an added plug, Chad's technical skill is masked so well by his incredible sense of humour.

Don't dismiss this routine! It is NOT "just another ploy to be different" by combining Matrix + Coin Box!This Routine is VERY well scripted and choreographed to employ all of the strengths of the Coin Box AND the misdirection. The best Routines are the most deceptive when they combine sleights and gimmicks; and this one checks all the boxes! It is a fun routine to perform. The effect is easy to follow, and sleights are fairly easy to execute. The 'gimmick' flies totally under the radar (As it should!). Well Done Chad for a great routine, and thank you for sharing it!

This is really nice, the kickback is brilliant. But you do need a boston box to be able to do this. Chad's teaching is thorough and he goes through the moves in great detail. Will take a bit of practice though but it is going to be worth it.
Rick
A matrix and reverse matrix routine with an Okito box. I never quite knew what to think of okito boxes but I like this one a lot I forgot where I read about using Carmex containers as an okito box. Interesting idea Lots of matrix routines out there the okito box is a fun touch that makes this different. Definitely added to a regular used matrix routine.

Excellent trick !! Great performance !!

This is a very well-constructed routine and a lot of thought went into the handling's subtle details. The instruction is concise and to the point, so he doesn't spend a lot of time talking about the WHY behind the subtle details that make it great but he does point them out. Chad does not go into great detail on the basic moves used but there is enough to pick it up if you aren't familiar with them. If you are a bit familiar with coins you will probably appreciate that you aren't sitting through a lot of time on how to vanish a coin. The instruction is very clear. It is Chad Long so my expectations were high and he met them.
