REL Change

I just downloaded and watched this. INCREDIBLE. I estimate I will be able to do it within the day.

I so, so prefer this to things like the Clip Shift, because here you can see more of the cards. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

So, so great. Well shot, well thought out. A REAL winner. REL is amazing. Get it!

All I can say is, "Wow." Very well explained and I would love to see more from Mr. Brewer.

I'm very pleased with this and just watched it. I think it's a practical change that, if you watch your angles, could have LOTS of applications.

This move is for magicians. This isn't practical for real world crowd use; it is extremely angley. There are better color changes and easier ones. I'd prefer the Monet Change; it is more fair looking, more visual, more practical. It's a "new" sleight, but left feeling a little disappointed.

I disagree with a review above, that this move is only for magicians. It has angle restrictions, but so do lots of changes and moves. But I do magic semi-professionally and this is EXACTLY the kind of thing audiences scream over. Monet Change is a MINOR variation of an existing Walton move, and lacks the visual quality of this one. I love it!

This is INCREDIBLY good. Saw Michael do this at a TAOM and it's amazing. I disagree with the advertisement: it says it is somewhat difficult. EASY! Once you get the hand positions it will start to work immediately.

Sorry have to agree withYul Largado. This move isn't practical for real world crowd use; it is EXTREMELY angley. There are far BETTER colour changes and easier ones out there. Personally I wish I'd saved my money.

I disagree with Philip and Yul. This move is no different from a snap deal, Zoso Change, the pass or any other advanced sleight. I've gotten great mileage from the sleight after being shown it. It's also a sleight that has so many other uses than what is shown on the download. Like a subtle billet change. It is a Grade A for me.

Very nice download. Very well explained. I wouldn't recommend it to a beginner. 1 because it's not easy, and 2 because the angles are very limited. You will find yourself performing this for no more than 2 at once. Which is pittie because it has so many applications....

Confession. Got as part of a color change package deal so I didn't play the $10 for this one move. It came with others like Tony Chang's 'ChangE' and the Toss Out Change. REL and ChangE are very visual and different enough that they're worth putting in the effort.

That being said, this REL move is very good and I admit the initial time I learned the move I missed some of the nuances that Mr. Brewer explains in the tutorial. Pay careful attention to his use and placement of fingers if you want to make less angle-sensitive per the other reviews. If done HIS WAY, the move has a bit more pop and coverage than what you may intuit after the first few mins.

A fantastic change, at a fantastic price. You won’t be performing it straight away, as it’s a little ‘knacky’, but the effect and versatility is fantastic. I’d also like to add that the video itself is superb - often, the included tutorials can be poorly shot, with either unhelpful angles, bad sound and unedited mistakes. This is very slick and well presented, and as I say, well worth the money.

Brilliant Color Change, a must have for every card magician!

What a fantastic illusion. Brewer does a great job explaining the elements and when this is done correctly it elicits a response of wonder and amazement. The production value is top-notch and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the REL as a solid color change. Personally I might have spent an entire section on angles, where you have to be in relation to your audience when you perform the trick, and where they can't be. Maybe a version of you sitting vs. if you're standing. Perhaps that's not necessary for most; however, I am a novice, so this trick might be a bit above my skill level, but I'll get it. 10/10 would recommend.

There´s a lot of downloads out there that teach obvious moves/tricks and do it terribly (to be honest, Vanishing Inc tends to be a little more discerning about this than other dealers and I aplaud them for that). This one, however, is the opposite: the move is ingenious, the video is well shot and well edited (including multiple angles) and Michael Brewer is a great teacher - and the funny ending is a bonus itself). Also, I´m not the best when it comes to sleight of hand and I did NOT find the move that difficult. (And the price is very fair.)

Extremely well described and videoed. Practice required to get it right but can be done with no setup and instant performance. I see myself using it most often to change bills when tipping servers. I’ll need to practice, practice practice.

So visual! Tecqnique I did not see anywhere

This is a really impressive looking change...but for a hack like me it's VERY HARD to darn impossible. I'll keep at it but I expect it will be quite some time before I even get the steal right at a slow speed. However if I ever do get it right I think it will be well worth it!

Great and fantastic new technique that requires sleight of hand but it’s worth it!

An amazing change. So smooth. Has multiple applications. This has gained some traction from the YouTube community (*ahem Chris Ramsey [who to be fair, credited properly and didn't teach the move]) but it makes sense why... This is a very visual and impressive change. There's some angles to resolve and it can be knacky but after some practice, when you get this smooth, it's very rewarding.

The video is high quality, the method is well explained and I honestly believe you could get the effect seen in the demo, but ONLY as its seen in the demo. It is incredibly angle sensitive, which I'm normally okay with if the angle it is meant to be seen from is the front. But this requires you to be at a sort of 45 degree angle to your audience, which just feels unnatural. Not a huge fan.

Wish i could give this more than 5 stars - hands down my favorite dl from Vanishing Inc - not only is the change the absolute best, multiple applications taught, taught clearly, and by the most entertaining teacher - Michael Brewer has a fan for life - don't hesitate to buy

It’s visual eye candy at its finest. Everything is taught really well, and he goes over other uses like multiple color changes, card to box, using it as a bill change and more. I think this is definitely more for the move monkey than the worker. It is angle sensitive but not the worst angles ever. I don’t see myself performing this in front of somebody but practicing it feels really good. It has a nice zen feel to it when you nail it. He doesn’t go over any tips for angles and performing for people, which further more suggests it’s for your magic friends, video or just something fun to play around with. Even Ed Marlo said there’s moves he likes practicing but would never perform. We all have stuff like that and this is one of them for me. Depending on what your goals are, I think get it if you like what you see, but there are more effective color changes out there.
