As the cards are sprung face up from hand to hand, the dealer is able to stop dead on an Ace. This is repeated three more times until all four Aces have been found. An impeccable feat to say the least.

Spring St. Aces was created by Steve Forte and originally appeared in Channel One magazine as Springing the Aces.

A demonstration video of Steve Forte performing this is included as part of the tutorial.

I'd wanted to learn this ever since I had seen a video of David Williamson perform this at the Blackpool convention, I finally got to! The 'move' is actually pretty easy to do, a little knacky but once you get it it looks amazing! This is a great demonstration of "skill" for laymen. Heres the video I was talking about: http://youtu.be/Brf5e49htx4

Slick simplicity. Card sharks, gamblers and self-professed hustlers love seeing this. "Hey bro, show'em how you can do that shooting to the Aces thing" is what I get every time, followed shortly by "Bad a**!!!" and "Teach me that." You can get tons of millage and build one hell of a reputation with just this simple, beautiful and startling move.

Personally, I like to do the "Aces to Kings" version and have the Aces end up face up in the deck or in my pocket. It kills I tell ya, so pick it up.

This is a really cool trick. I like to put into my routines as a production, and it generally gets some good reactions. Almost everyone I've performed this for thought that I really had done this with skill alone. This trick is also extremely easy and you'll be doing it in no time. I really like this and have been experimenting with using it as a force. This trick is relatively cheap and I guarantee you'll enjoy it.

Very neat! The move is easier than I had thought and the explanation is very well taught and very clear. There are also some variations like doing it face down and switching out the cards is very clever and pretty easy. I recommend this from intermediate to advanced magicians. I enjoy it very much and I hope you do as well.

This is one of my favorite openers for any 4 of a kind effect. I actually purchased a manuscript last year with the original handling of this effect. I can say that learning from this video is a hundred times easier than from a written explanation. The explanation is clear, simple and is customary of and Dan and Dave product, artfully elegant. The effect itself isn't overly hard, for an experienced card handler it should come relatively easy. The move can be a bit knacky but with a little time it becomes easy to master. For this price, you are getting a steal for a wonderful effect with endless applications, not to mention its just a blast to practice and play with. The addition of the trick utilizing the move, where the 4 of a kind changes is a wonderful extra that really heightens the whole idea. Do yourself a favor and just pick this up now. You wont regret it.

This is one of the most visual tricks I can do and is a not that hard. With a little practice you have have mastered it.

This effect is great, because you can use it on the way to another trick, just as a production or to find their selected card! It can be reworked a little to find the wrong cards and then have them be the right ones. It is really up to you how far this move can go! Really impressive and visual display!

The trick is very knacky, that is there are a number of indescribables to the effect that can't really be taught. But with a little bit of thought and practice the sleight works every time. Perfect for finding certain cards, 4s of a kind, for a particular trick. Great way to start of a gambling routine, gives the concept of control right away. The only draw back is the set up is awkward to get into, and more likely you'll just need to set the deck and then do this first. That aside, it's a great and useful sleight and effect.

This is one of my favourite tricks here. There are two variations taught, and they are explained very clearly and very well! Highly recommended for intermediate levels and above magicians. Not recommended when using brand new decks though; it helps when the decks are a little broken into.

Great four ace production, the best i've ever come upon. I found it a bit knacky to get down, but finally it clicked. Since, I've never stopped performing it. And the Bonus "Aces to Kings", is so simple, and hits so hard, the reactions I've gotten are amazing. Get this for your audience, they deserve it.

This is an amazing effect brought to you by Steve Forte. Dave teaches this very clearly and it's easy to catch on. This trick will take some practice to perfect. Once you get it down it's quite easy. It's very visual and jaw dropping when performing.

I have been searching for this move ever since the video of David Williamson was uploaded. Very well taught and it's very simple and visual.

Very well done. The explanation for the trick was exactly as it was performed, with a few added extras, and its totally worth the $5 I payed for it. Recommended!

This is a bit knacky but the secret is simple and it makes a great production or card location. Once you get it down, you WILL use it. If this kind of thing interests you, then you can't go wrong with making the purchase.

This effect looks so impossible, yet the method isn't too difficult. Definitely recommended!

Powerful effect with a simple method and cheap price! Several variations taught, all in all, highly recommended.

From the genius mind of Steve Forte, this is a great flashy production of a 4-of-a-kind. It looks impossible & very impressive. I found the method impressive too actually. Dave's teaching is very clear and easy to follow, and the production quality is classy. He teaches the original-handling along with a variation from a Chinese-magician that has a twist of magic in it.

Recommended to those who don't mind displaying their skills in their card-work.

I've wanted to be able to do something like this for quite sometime now, and now it's here! And Steve Forte is one of the worlds leading authorities and experts at cards and card cheating. Worth the buy!

This is a awesome effect but, what do you expect, after all it is from the great Steve Forte. There are variations taught in this tutorial that can further enhance the original. It is a bit tricky to get down but, once you do it is a amazing effect that you will probably use for quite a long. The reason I give it a 4/5 is because I feel that the tutorial isn't that clear.

Overall I still recommend and it is only $4.95!

I added this into my Ace routine and people love it. It is one of the strongest Ace productions I have ever done! It puts magic into a level of realism that makes the spectators truly question what is real, or just magic. It is a steal at this price.
Billy
it's AMAIZING, ANASHEEEEI, GOOOOOOOOD, all the good things man

Great and underseen production of the aces. Listen, if Steve Forte's name is attached to this you know its good right? Its good.

There are a couple of extras using the basic principal as well. The main routine alone is worth the money though. Its a short video but its clear and you will be able to do this after watching it, provided you have a nice smooth spring off of the thumb.

I have enjoyed learning this. It gives me a good reason to improve my card spring which I have always neglected. I have already thought of a few ideas and as others have suggested already this surely makes a very convincing force. And a nice treat to have Led Zeppelin's Fool in the Rain playing in the while forte demonstrates the move.

This looks very knacky, but with some practice should be obtainable. The tuition on this download is extremely minimalist - do this, do that and it will work is basically all you get. No advice on best way of holding the spring for this effect. One of those downloads that you think "I wish I'd just watched YouTube and saved myself a fiver".
Jorge
That was amazing
Luke
Awesome! Can’t wait to practice it
Jae
Very nice!
Mark
This is brilliant as long as you can spring cards off of your thumb. I struggle with it as I have always sprung the cards from my fingers, i thought I was alone in this but I noticed recently that Doug Conn on YouTube teaches the spring coming off of the fingers
George
incredible
