This is a very deceptive switch for the respective situation and with a construction that nobody will detect it, even more, nobody will think that there is a switch even possible. It will require some practice to get it smooth but it is not really difficult - but if you don't want to invest some time it's not for you. The conditions to use this switch are that you need a table etc. with a surface thus that you can turn over a spread of cards without cards gliding away. I like it very much!

This is essentially a tabled version of Juan Tamarizes PC. This sleight lends itself to a plethora of different effects. Forces, switches, or hiding the backs are just a few of the possibilities covered. I find the sleight very difficult personally. It appears to work on timing and feel alone, rather than a surefire consistency. The explanation was too short, and the finer points of execution weren't addressed. Maybe if Juan Rubiales had taken just a bit more time and care (multiple camera angles, slowing down, finer points, how to increase consistency), I'd have given this a five star rating. Despite the rushed explanation though, I rate this highly just on the concept and mechanics alone. The matching card with transposition is worth the price of admission, and beats most other versions. It has it's limitations though. You need a surface such as a close up mat, where the cards can't slide when turned over, and the selection must be picked roughly in the center. If you do a lot of tabled card work, you need this in your arsenal. I recommend this!
