I am very pleased with this download. Sure, $10 is a bit steep for one trick,but it really is a great trick, open to many presentations ( although Pits presentation is a very good one) and I feel I will use this for the rest of my life, so all in all money well spent. Love the method, ingenious !

When I learned what type of method would be used in this trick, I was at first reserved - since I perfer a certain style of card magic; but once Pit got into the mechanics and the explanation (tailored with his easy to follow directions and charm), I gained a new respect for this lineage of card magic and Pit's particular addition to it.

I remember first seeing this and saying WTF outloud. I was stunned. You DONT ever look at the face of the cards during the routine before or after the card is named.

After seeing Pits book "Card Fictions" i knew this would be amazing method wise, Presentation wise and concept wise.

The Method is very very cheeky i dont think i could have ever thought of it.
Work needs to be put into this effect but it is SO well worth it look at it. Its Stunning.

Pit goes Indepth on how to perform and learn the effect yes this will be something new to just about every magician i think. Pit is a great teacher and creator i cant wait to see more from him on the site.

Pit Hartling's 'The Core' is absolutely amazing. It's like an offshoot of A.C.A.A.N. and beautified. The method is deviously clever and so honest looking, it will stump anyone, layperson or magician. The method is absolutely mind boggling. I honestly think I paid too little for this method. I'm really glad to have learned this.

This trick is really ingenious.I had to get this after I saw the video and glad I did. It isn't hard to do at all, just some math in head, but I put the important numbers(if you have this you know what I mean) on the bottom of my card box to glance at if need be. Get this and you wont be sorry. If you use the memorized deck this is a must have.

This is the type of magic I like. A spectator names a card and you find it without any fishing, looking at the faces or even shuffling. Very fooling and the effect is amazing. In my mind, this even beats most ACAAN routines in the market. Why do all the extra stuff when you can just do this?

This is a vry clever method which he is using an old method, but i have not seen it done in this particular way in a card trick before.

Clever and practical.

This is a great trick for itself, especially when performed with a sealed deck, but I guess this principle can be useful for other tricks as well. The explanation is straight forward and easy to understand, the hardest part of the whole procedure is doing the math. Beautiful trick!

The Core by Pit Hartling is a name-a-card trick that I will be including some magicians and is going straight into my act. In the explanation section the video allows you to see each move he makes though excellent camera angles as he explains the steps. The only drawback is the performance and explanation are film in an outdoor setting where traffic interferes a little, but the download is well worth the price charged.

Pit Harling is a true genius for creating this, such beauty there is within the presentation, and the methodology, what a wonderful man he really is, an admirable man he really is, he has created something truly beautiful.

Very interesting method! No sleight of hand required! However, some mental gymnastics need to be done while performing. Although these are not too difficult to do (quite simple math), it will take some practice to get it down smoothly during performance. In my opinion, it also needs a captivating and interesting presentation to make it really entertaining to the audience, and not just seem like a logic based trick. Still, a really clever and interesting method!

Not everyone is going to like this, but I like this a lot. It requires a bit of calculation, but it's honestly not a lot. I think a lot of magicians may already be able to do the calculation intuitively. The extra effect he talks about at the end (with the newspaper) is quite ingenious and I'm going to be using that in the future.

What a great effect this yet again from Pit Hartling he never fails to deliver this is a non sleight of hand trick although it does require some mental gymnastics but nothing that is to difficult so with a little bit of practice is well in the capability of anyone. This is going straight in to my repertoire as this will fool everyone even a lot of magicians comes highly recommended.

This is an amazing method. It uses a mathematical principle that won't be too hard to get down once you've practiced it enough.
I've seen talk about a "stack" being involved but this is a bit misleading, I think. If you're not familiar with a memorized deck or a specific stack, you can easily use new deck order for this effect. Don't let the mention of a "stack" scare you. You just need to be able to quickly locate a specific card at its value.
This is a mind-blowing effect with a small price tag.

This is really a great effect! This is probably more valuable than the price itself. If you are not familiar with Pit Hartling this might be good download to start. Also if you are a memorized deck worker, this is great addition to your roster. The tutorial is easy to follow.

A remarkable piece of magic.

It's an interesting technique that is fun to learn and provides for a good effect.
However, this trick wasn't for me because the process lasted too long. But if you like what you saw in the demo then get this; you won't be disappointed.

I'm excited about putting this into use with Mnemonica which I finally learned.

I'm sure, like anything, with practice can be done. My opinion, it just seems so much easier to cull the card to the bottom from a mem deck. From spectator's point of view, I think the effect would register the same. It is amazing this effect works, thank you Pit.

Very clever application of two old principles to create a seemingly impossible outcome. It will take a little bit of mental work and short-term memory to accomplish this as effortlessly as seen in the video, but is well within the reach of most who are doing mem-deck work. I think the effect could be strengthened by adding a method that makes it seem that the selected card is unknown to the magician. For example a good card force or, even better, a psychological force like Silent Running (Ben Harris) or something similar.

simply, clearly explained. Should be priced twice as much. Some have made comment on street noises, I just tuned them out, so followed along just find. Good to have keep the time down to under 15 minutes. Easier to absorb. If I can master the moves and math this goes into my presentation. While the "core" premises is well thought out, I see this offering more as utility where I need create a back story. This is a great addition to mem-deck working. Thank you

The method is highly ingenious, clean and sleight-free. There is some calculation involved but I feel sure that with a little familiarisation with the process, the small amount of mental effort required could be easily covered with appropriate patter. The effect is so direct that I am looking forward to performing this to my most severely analytic audience (yes, my wife), as I feel sure the method is so watertight that there is no weakness for a spectator to home in on. This download is excellent value for money.

Great trick and can`t wait to start practicing it. Definitely going to be one of my go to tricks. Simple to understand yet plays big. Ten out of ten would recommend.

This is a brilliant idea. It will take some (a lot) of practice to do the mental gymnastics, but you will be left with an effect that will fry an audience. There’s a bit too much procedure, in my mind, for the average lay audience, but in the right situation, or for magicians, this would be a killer.

A great routine! Pit Hartling’s method is ingenious and easy-to-do. Very clean handling, with nothing to tip off your audience. Don't be put off by the minor math needed to perform this routine. Pit explains everything you need to know, and you will be able to master the necessary, easy calculations quickly. One of my favorite downloads!

I can only assume that Pit Hartling builds rocket ships when he's bored since he is so dang smart. This effect has a great presentation and is fun to watch. But be ready for some quick mental gymnastics to make it look smooth.

I think that this guy is super smart. While I don't think that this will be my go-to effect, it is nice to have in my back pocket for a rainy day or if the situation calls for it. It is pretty hands-off which makes it even more impossible for the spectator, but doesn't align with my personal preference. Still, do not count it out because it's not my cup of tea - very clever!
