This is an excellent trick, and Tamariz makes it easy to understand. The sleight-of-hand is challenging, but that's part of the fun and what you'd expect from him. The only qualm I had was that the performance video wasn't available for download along with the explanation video. Some might find it instructive to go back and watch the performance "teaser", to see how he made it work so well for the audience before explaining it. He really shows how he applies the principles from his books, especially _The Five Points in Magic_, like when he makes eye contact with the male spectator at a critical moment. His performing style is unique and probably more popular in Spain. The style is very different from magicians in the U.S. That's a lot of what I like about him. He shows how an unconventional style can work. Sometimes I've heard him say that his jokes are "stupid" but that they work. And I think he repeated that in this video. They work for him because of his personality. This is a cool trick that can be learned in a week or less for someone addicted to practicing it. But he teaches showmanship along with the sleight of hand. I love it because nobody (at least in my country) is going to try to mimic him the way they would David Copperfield, Blaine, Criss Angel, or Derren Brown. It would be a disaster to even try. But they can follow his example of being his natural self and presenting it in a way that is unique.
