I like max lukian as a teacher; he has a nice, calm demeanor that translates well to his instruction. It's a knacky move, but I think that toaster can be a nice touch to a card production in any routine. It's visual, fun, and is a nice kicker for a card reveal.

Max Lukian does not usually disappoint. As in the rest of his routines, Toaster explains in a didactic and simple way the simple steps of this "Sandwich effect" as colorful as it is famous. The mechanics are simple and the explanation with the almost constant close-up from the magician's point of view is a great help to understand how to proceed with the movements. It took me a few tries to get the effect down but Max includes in his instructions lots of detail to help you land the strength and pressure right and even notes that it will take a few tries to get the pressure correct. He provides all the support to be successful.

Overall it is a visual flair and timed correctly can enhance your magic.

Very nice. Well explained. Like most sleights of this nature, there is a knack that needs to be acquired. However the visual is pretty stunning. The download also contains some nice tips for efficiently getting the selected card into position prior to the reveal. I believe Toaster is a good value for the price.

A really nice finesse on the sandwich plot! A little bit of a knack but not really "difficult" to do! The hard part will be that "one degree" to ensure it looks like it is really appearing rather than poping out. the video is not super long but he defiantly covers everything that is needed to learn efficiently. A worthy investment!

I'm sure you have seen videos of moves claiming to look like special video effects. Some do and, unfortunately, some don't. Some advertising can be very deceptive. But not in this case. Watch the demo video and you will swear that it was done with a camera. Max has created a move that I predict will be added to the repertoire of a lot of those who make this purchase.

For a mere $10.00, Max teaches everything you will need to know to perform this and all its applications in a 12 minute download. He gives very detailed instructions and it is a great quality video. One of the things that I do is have a deck in my hand while watching television in the evenings (and, yes, I do watch way too much television, especially with the lockdown in place.) Working on moves like this keeps me from totally just wasting my time. This is the perfect lockdown video. You will want to play with it over and over until you get it just where you want it. Once you do, you will have a reputation maker in your arsenal.

Unlike some companies that offer very visual effects, this requires no arts and crafts. You could use a borrowed deck but I would suggest you make sure that it is good condition. When you do the move, watch their eyes pop out of their heads. It is that strong.

In short, I love this move. It is not that hard to accomplish and it is pure eye candy. At only 10 bucks, you need this and you will not regret it.

I got to meet Max earlier this year when you could still, well meet people. He's a friend and so I am definitely biased.

That's being said Toaster is fantastic! Max explains multiple ways to use the move and you can tell this is something he's been working on for a while because he makes it look easy. Toaster isn't hard per say, but will take some practice to make it look as good as Max does.

Definitely pick this up even if it's only to hear Max talk more because she has a fantastic voice.

Great production with a poor teaching.
Lot of verbal detail put into this tutorial, but at the end, you never even see the movement from below, so you have to imagine what the hack is going on. You even get a pointless slo-mo from ABOVE, so you can see the card jumping out slowly - it's a miracle! Becase you can't see what actually happened with the fingers.
I'm happy I bougth this for 1USD. Now I'm only really disappointed. For 10 bucks, I would be really angry about this purchase.

However, the explanations are so poor.
There is no angle from the back of the hand, which is what I want to see the most.
I wonder how others were able to make sense of this video.

This is incredibly knacky and you’d better not have dry hands. If I knew what this was before purchasing it I would have passed. This is one of those moves where you’re going to spend a countless hours working on it without ever really knowing if you’re doing it correctly or getting any closer to nailing it.
