Dani DaOrtiz is back with a squeaky clean effect that feels like real magic.

With Trinity, cards are randomly distributed and shuffled. One spectator then memorizes a card before all the cards are returned to the table.

You then allow the audience to choose 3 random cards from ANOTHER borrowed deck. These cards create a special number. You then take the original deck and, with one finger, slowly count down to that number. Impossibly, you arrive at the spectator's selected card.

That´s a very nice trick and simple

Dani DaOrtiz has changed the way i look at magic, particularly close up, and card magic most of all. He is far and away my favorite card magician, and I put him in the same esteemed group as Tamariz, Green, and Asi Wind. Like everything I've seen of his, this video is stuffed with great advice that will change the way you do card tricks. But his advice is so concentrated that I have to watch his videos over and over to really understand them. Which is fine. But if you want a video where the trick is explained in a traditional "First have them take a card, return it, do a pass, do a side steal, do a carthweel" and so on then this might not suit you. If you enjoy all of the tips DaOrtiz offers while explaining the method, and if you're up for watching the video several times, this is as good as it gets. EVERY TRICK THIS GUY DOES IS A STUNNER. When I see his name I buy with confidence and excitement.

Jim responds:You will lose some of the amazingly chaotic moments that Dani gets from using multiple audience members—that said—yes, the core technique can work with one participant—they will have to do a lot of shuffling. You will need to study the technique and make adjustments on your own.
