A tribute to Dai Vernon's wonderful One-Handed Table Shuffle, done perfectly.

We originally learned this technique from Vernon's book, Ultimate Secrets of Card Magic (1967); however it wasn't until we saw a video of Ross Bertram performing the shuffle perfectly that we began to take interest. What you see before you is our own handling created to achieve the perfect one-for-one riffle along with various subtleties acquired from years of practice.

The teaching to this awesome move is very good and well explained. I preform this all of the time just as often as a Charlier cut, like a side thing, not bringing much attention to it but still attracting audiences.

I've seen Dan and Dave do this move before but I've never found a tutorial but now they have one and ITS FREE....so that's a bonus!!!
James
The instructions are very clear. I am glad that I took the time to get this, and I look forward to becoming proficient at this skill.

It was a pretty good video, but the one-handed shuffle is not a knuckle busting move, so I was able to more or less figure it out myslef from the trailer. Although I am grateful for the info on positionig the hand on the packets. Unfortunately I sometimes have problems with the ending - which is an ideal faro and a proper bridge

Great teaching. a beautiful technique ...love it
Rick
I love this table shuffle. This is one of those moves you learn that make you feel bad ass as your learning. The tutorial is perfect and explained very well. Learn thismove and become bad ass too!
Mike
Love the attention paid to detail and subtleties. You won't get it on your first go, but keep working at it. The video demonstrates the speed isn't important for it to be effective and eye catching.
Sean
Cool move. Good explanation by D&D.
Donald
The video and explanation are very clear and emphasize what seem to be the relevant points one needs to have in mind when approaching this knacky miracle. Intuition and past experience tell me it's going to challenge my persistence. ??

I still have not nailed the move yet. I often get frustrated and just do a one handed shuffle with no table. I love having a variety of shuffles to use and sometimes showoff during poker games. The video and instruction are perfectly taught. There is no detail leftover. Purchased this gem a while ago and commenced practicing it again. Hopefully I have a breakthrough soon
David
Nice close up on shuffle to see finger placement.

I rated this high for the production value. It is the typical high-class Dan and Dave work, showing you that there is someone out there that can do things with cards that only savants can do. I personally learned this shuffle from being in print. In truth, I bought this to see if there was any instruction about how to do a perfect faro using this flourishy shuffle. There is not really anything useable, other than: do a perfect split and keep doing it until you develop the knack (just to be fair, I think that is all the instruction you could include for a move like the one handed tabled faro shuffle). While the video shows the shuffle, and is a good place to learn the shuffle (without a faro), there are no shortcuts to performing the shuffle in conjunction with a perfect faro. To execute the shuffle with a perfect faro, it is a knacky thing, and if you can do it three times in a row, you are the man/woman.

Amazing and effortless
Jack
Good.

This is a good in depth tutorial. The move is simple enough to learn but hard to master. A must for mpve monkeys and people who are into gambling demonstrations

I love these older videos that spend so much time and attention on one move or technique. It puts a good focus on the method, as well as the great camera angles to show how things should be done. Great price and great content. I think it would be worth looking into more of these downloads since they are so reasonably priced.

When I nail this, it’s going to look beautiful.????
Gabriel
I didn’t know this shuffle before, I’m writing this to rest my fingers a little. It’s a little bit hard but I can see the progress !
Jeff
If you’re a card guy, you NEED to do SOMETHING out of the ordinary while handling a deck to imply you have some chops. This is one of the best examples that can be done casually, yet shouts out volumes…
Roger
Time to practice!
