The trick really is a visual showstopper. The idea of the gimmick is sound and the effect is just unbelievable. That said, my gimmick broke the first time I used it (after watching the video and working to loosen it) and I had to basically remake it. I'm not sure if it was a one-off accident in the construction or if it's just very fragile, but the handling in the video makes me think you should be able to be a little less delicate. Fortunately there are instructions included for remaking it, but disappointing that I had to do so because the effect is phenomenal.

  • Jacob asks: So on the DVD, they show you how to make the gimmick. What kind of elastic thread do they use? They don't say. The stuff I got seems too thick and isn't as elastic as what they use.
