Customer reviews for Abandoned

David
It’s simple in design, so if you needed to make a replacement you could. I think the box itself has potential beyond what the tutorial provides. However, treating this for what it is and the accompanying tutorial, I don’t think it’s worth $30. The two effects taught are ok—stealing the card out of the box to be loaded in a wallet for example is one. The other being a card at any number, which I suppose is strong given that the deck is isolated in the box.
The instructions are basic; there are no nuances taught. I think this will take most people some practice to use it smoothly and effectively.

  • Robert asks: As far as retrieving the card after the deck is placed back in the box, how does this compare to the extractor but Peter Nardi? This looks far more convincing, actually being able to show the full deck enter the box. Is this accurate?

    • 1. Robert responds:Hey Robert! Because I’m you, and I ended up purchasing this, let me answer this for you! The main difference (and lesser selling point) is that YOU (the magician) would have to put the card back. The spectator could NOT place the card back in the box themselves, like with the extractor. Hope that helps! - you (me)
  • Ethan asks: Can everything be examined and is it easy to use (I am an beginner)

    • 1. Steven responds:I would not recommend this for a beginner. Beginners should check out: https://www.vanishingincmagic.com/magic-for-beginners/
  • Matthew asks: How durable is the gimmick will it rip break easily

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:It is a card case. If you take care of it and keep it clean, it should last quite a while.
