Another World is an otherworldly take on the classic Out of This World card magic plot that is oozing with unique and bizarre signature Zabrecky charm.

Each set comes with 20 pocket-sized photos of world famous magician Harry Houdini and his beloved wife Bessie. These photos are fairly dealt randomly into face-down piles. Despite the spectator making free choices every step of the way, they manage to defy the odds and impossibly separate all of the photos into perfect Houdini and Bessie piles.

Rob Zabrecky's take on OOTW is a great addition to this classic routine. The cards are of great quality too, with clear reproductions of Harry and Bessie. The effect works equally well over Zoom as well as close up and makes for a great companion piece for a Houdini related effect. Love the effect so much, I bought two. This is great magical theatre, Zabrecky truly is from Another World!

This is based on a classic trick that most of us likely either already do or have done in the past. One reason to not do the original version with all 52 playing cards is that it can take a bit too long for certain individuals or in certain situations. But Rob Zabrecky has addressed that by using only 20 cards. This was a nice choice. Also, the Harry and Bess theme works wonderfully and gives a little more psychological weight to the performance over simply trying to intuit red cards vs black cards. I dig it.

I’m a fan of OOTW routines and this.version is a cracker. There’s scope to build a good story and the trick snd the story become great discussion point afterwards
