A clever routine filled with surprises that you'll love performing.

"Almost Real Magic" by Obie O'Brien and Joe Riding is a fun effect revolving around the idea of an entrance exam that people must pass if they want to attend Blackjack Card Counting School.

It is an observation test that begins with two identical hands of Blackjack (Aces and Jacks). The candidate (your helper) must do their best to follow where the cards are.

The first test is easy, but then things get a bit tougher. Unexpectedly the Blackjack on the table is now seen as two Aces while the one in your hand has the Jacks.

To help them out, you try to simplify things by only using the two Jacks. But wait, now there are three Jacks and only one Ace. Then, for a stunning finale, all four cards become Jacks. There are no Aces in sight.

"ARM: Almost Real Magic" is super easy to perform. Despite the seeming impossibility of the effect, the only true sleight used is an Elmsley Count toward the end.

Comes with all the necessary props manufactured by Meir Yedid Magic and a detailed online tutorial.
