BLUE ILLUSION IS AN EYE-POPPING MOMENT OF MAGIC, WITH NO COVER.
"I must say that this looks so good. It is by far the cleanest ALL-AROUND color-changing card box I have ever seen."
- Mark Mason
A BLUE Bicycle card box is picked up off your table. It is shown to your audience in the fairest possible manner; no cover of any kind.
The box is opened, and a RED deck is slid halfway out. With just a wave, the ENTIRE BOX VISUALLY changes color to RED.
THIS REALLY HAS TO BE SEEN TO BE BELIEVED. ALL 6 SIDES CAN BE SHOWN.
The deck is removed and spread face up. Your spectator names ANY CARD; NO FORCE of any kind. NO COVER.
The freely named card is flipped face down. It is the ONLY BLUE-BACKED CARD in the ENTIRE DECK.
The named card is flipped face up and laid on the red card box. The deck is shown; there are no other BLUE CARDS in the deck.
At this point you explain it's all been an illusion.
The box was NEVER BLUE, there are NO BLUE cards in the deck and finally the card they named was also never blue -- the SPECTATOR turns over the card themselves; IT IS NOW RED!

Christophe asks: Can the box be used on its own (I'm looking for a suitable colour changing box effect for the end of a colour changing deck routine)? If so, can it be left on the table during the routine before performing the change (if not, can anyone suggest a similar effect that would allow this? Thanks.
- 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:The box needs to be ready for the change so you cannot leave it on the table. It can hold a normal deck.
Raphael asks: Does this take advanced-medium or easy sleight of hand? if not, how much practice would it take until you could perform this? Thanks
- 1. Jim responds:No. That is always a subjective question. It depends on your skill level and your amount of experience as a performer. If you study the routine and practice with it, it will be within your difficulty level. If you don't study and don't practice, then the will be outside of your difficulty level.
Raphael asks: Is the gimmick well concealed? And is it strong and will it last long? Thanks!
- 1. Jim responds:It is well concealed. It is made of card cases, so it will last a while, if you take care of it.
Jack asks: also I've read and other places that this trick is a bit noisy. Will this be a problem?
- 1. Jim responds:No, in my opinion.
Jack asks: hi, I am interested in this trick and I'm wondering the difficulty level on this. From 1 to 10. Can a child perform this?
- 1. Jim responds:Medium to hard. No, I would not get this for child.
Edward asks: Reset wise, is this suitable for walk-around?
- 1. Sgkyduyen responds:Quick reset and it's suitable for walk-around
Darryl asks: Hello-does the box come with the traditional blue/red bicycle box as shown in the live demo video? Or does it come with the NON-traditional coloured box as shown for the Ad copy image ?
matt asks: Hey, can I use this deck for other card tricks or give an individual card to a spectator to look over?
- 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:Yes, the deck can be used for other card tricks, selections—you could even give cards away, if you so desire.
- 2. Sgkyduyen responds:yes! you can do that
Zuhairr asks: Is the gimmick DIY-able?
- 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:You receive a gimmick that requires a tiny bit of one-time prep (think less than a minute). I would not describe it as DIY, unless you have a lot of skill.
- 2. Sgkyduyen responds:It's not easy but possible DIY, you need experience with handcraft stuff
