Dani DaOrtiz Fool Us Act
Dani DaOrtiz Fool Us Act

Learn Dani DaOrtiz’s amazing Fool Us act with this exclusive download available only at Vanishing Inc. Featuring nearly 3.5 hours of instruction, "Dani DaOrtiz: The Fool Us Act” is available right now.
Dani DaOrtiz is a lifetime student of card magic. The star pupil of the legendary Juan Tamariz has established himself as one of the most incredible card magicians on the planet. His one-of-a-kind skills were on full display for the entire world as he fooled Penn and Teller, and every other magician watching the show, during his appearance on Penn & Teller: Fool Us.
Social media and magic forums lit up following the performance. Many praised it as one of the best card magic acts to ever appear on the show. Dani had the entire audience in the palm of his hand and knocked both Penn and Teller out of their seats (literally). It was true joy to watch the two legends of magic have faces full of joy like little kids seeing a magic trick for the first time.
Attempting to describe this routine in writing would not do it any justice. We urge you to watch the full performance above before going any further. In simplest terms, it is a rapid-fire routine filled with a ton of hard-hitting magic moments that build toward a ridiculously clean and fair ACAAN that would make David Berglas proud.
Learn the Real Work
Now you can learn the secrets to this extraordinary routine that caused Penn to signal for the coveted Fool Us trophy without even attempting to guess how it was done. Not just the ACAAN, but the whole routine in its entirety. Despite how complex it looks, you’ll be shocked to discover how surprisingly simple the underlying concepts are. There is no advanced sleight of hand required.
That’s because Dani DaOrtiz is a master of understanding human psychology and spectator management. This routine is like a mini masterclass in how to truly engage an audience and create a moment that feels utterly impossible.
While the core of the ACAAN was first seen briefly in Dani DaOrtiz’s “Borrowed Deck Miracles”, this download is a deep dive into the entire routine. Dani shares the real work, explaining how each piece comes together to create the greater whole. You’re going to love Dani’s discussion of how he uses the earlier tricks to prime the audience and determine which spectator will be the best option to make sure the big finale is a huge success.
He teaches all the necessary methods for each separate trick, as well as how to tie them together into a super entertaining routine that is nearly impossible to backtrack. You’ll learn how to create a truly unforgettable experience for your audience.
Customer reviews for Dani DaOrtiz Fool Us Act
The audio quality is really bad. Distractingly bad. A big disappointment from something that would otherwise be a 5 star product.
Information and Teaching: 5/5
Production Quality: 2/5
Teaching 5/5
Sound 2/5
Viva Dani!
Overall method is astoundingly simple and while it will require repeat practice with real people the skills/techniques are widely applicable and not confined to just this routine or these tricks.
Probably the best introduction to/overview of Dani daOrtiz's general style and approach to card magic.
Some minor issues with sound quality.
A lot of the material is also covered in other releases.
Highly recommended.

Highly recommended for everyone to get.
Well that would be all I would write normally but it’s worth noting that Dani is his usual self even when teaching an effect - lots to keep up with as he flip flops between elements in his usual chaotic style but that’s why we love his work, right?
With his kind of professionality and the price tag you can expect at least the sound quality of some average you tuber. If you realize that you fucked up the sound and you are not able to recover it, you will have to do it again I guess. Releasing the crappy footage however only because you can not be bothered to get it right and supply your fans with at least decent production value is just taking the piss.
Great content but the soundquality is unbearable!!!

The amount of principles and psychological insights you get from this to guide your audience, direct their attention and make them join your performance in a way that they will do exactly what you need them to is incredible.
It's not only useful for magicians, but for any performer that wants the audience to remember their story or act exactly the way they want the audience to remember it.
Worth way more, if you're a serious performer, you need this!
1) Introduction
2) Fool Us Performance
3) Core Concept: Dani just goes over the mechanics of the act itself. It gets you accustomed to how the act itself is performed; however, the psychology, blocking, and timing is expanded upon in the next section.
4) Concepts: The majority of the download itself is covering the psychology of the act itself. There is so much going into this act there it’s somewhat overwhelming, I still am rewatching this section. This alone is worth the price of the download.
5) Performance Commentary: He breaks down every moment that happened during his Fool us Performance.
I highly recommend this download. You are not only learning a fantastic act, this is a masterclass in misdirection, psychology, and audience management.
The teaching, attitude, and thoughtful approach to all of it from a beautiful grounding in love of magic and joy in wonder.
Can't imagine anyone would watch this and not find something to inspire them.

When I saw Dani DaOrtiz' performance on P&T I was astounded. I thought his methodology required serious knuckle busting. So, when Vanishing Inc. had its download sale, I selected several for which I was waiting to purchase at a later date. The Fool Us performance and explanation was the first I selected.
After watching the video and explanations, I again was astounded, because his methodology was so simple. That's not to say these effects are easy, the methodology is simple. If you wish to make these simple methodologies magical then you need to practice. However, rest assured, these are not knuckle busting sleights.
Now getting back to his not so good English. Dani DaOrtiz speaks English very well, so when he tells everyone his English is not so good, he is using misdirection. He uses this 'excuse' to add to his humor to make his presentation funny and...fun to watch. When I watched the Teller, Allison, Donny Osmond and Penn at the table, they were having a great time watching him perform. How can you not like this guy? He's funny, fun to watch and his magic is superb.
I highly recommend this download.
It is extremely hard to do (eventhough the principles behing it are mechanically simple), but the information in this download is gold. Even if you don't intend to do his version of any card at any number, the principles and the many tricks that Dani gives you alongside the explanations will improve your magic for sure.
A great ressource!
The download is intelligently divided into six parts, each contributing to a comprehensive learning experience:

The Road to Fool Us
The Fool Us Act itself is a whirlwind of magic, where Dani effortlessly navigates through the impossible. From find cards at random numbers to pulling off mind-bending revelations with Penn, Tell, Hannigan, and Osmond, the routine is a non-stop epic pace of astonishment.
What truly sets this download apart is its value. Acquiring this treasure trove of magic on sale for $20 feels like stealing. With a whopping 3.5 hours of magical content, it is a steal for any magician especially those venturing into close-up performances.
As someone asking to grace the Fool Us stage, the Road to Fool Us is a gem. Dani shares insights, behind-the-scenes stories, and quick tidbits about his experiences with Michael Close, offering a glimpse into the mindset of a maestro.

The bonus part was so funny, I couldn’t stop laughing.
Thanks Dani!!! (And Javi)
Only fault with this download is the lack of organization, particularly from the publishing end. Would have loved to break the video down into smaller parts so I could backtrack easier.
100% worth the money however.
