This book has received so much praise, and here is some more:

I'll be honest and say that there wasn't one routine in this book I couldn't see myself using. You will notice from the structure of these routines, that this man has serious experience in card magic.

There are so many ingenious items in this book. Everything uses unprepared cards, so "purists" out there will definitely enjoy it.

John Bannon's rendition of Henry Christ's "Fabulous Four Ace Routine" is noteworthy, and I use it frequently. It ends with a royal flush kicker (or other cards of your choice).

There is also a totally impossible and clean card location described, that combines several ideas for maximum effect.

You'd think all brilliant effects was enough, but that's not the case. Bannon has grouped all routines in sets, combining items that work well together. Yup; he even did the routining for you!

The book has something for everyone; assemblies, spectator cuts the aces, mind reading, impossible locations and sandwich routines.We highly reccomend it.

I am very happy to read this world Lost history book John bannon work is some thing that my specific mind enjoy studying the 19 shade of fun magic effect with cards is a delight. To + to the overall effects i have by him .. John bannon gave the tip and life time knowledge that specific members who like cool effects with close up classic!

For some people like me, this was the card magic of of the last decade, and I seriously believe that was true. 19 card effects from a shuffled deck of cards from progressive ace assembly, impossible selected card location, stand up in the hands triumph, even the current 10 card poker deal - all included and some evolve even by other famous magicians and further develop different variations / research up to this date.

All effects just mentioned a few above, stood the test of time and they never fail to amaze general audience, and even magicians. Do youself a favor stop get a few instant down and pick this up, read it, perform effects describe and you will be greatly rewarded.

Bannon has a brilliant mind, the phrase 'economy of motion comes' to mind when I think of his magic. Beyond the quality of thought that has gone into these effects the book itself is enjoyable to read. This is a book that should be back in print, perhaps in paperback or in an edition with another out-of print Bannon book. I think this book pairs well with his smaller booklet "Six Impossible Things". I recall receiving them together and they seem to come from a similar period of creative thought.
