Dr. Schwartz's Fantasy Rising Card
Fantasize about the perfect Rising Card effect and it might go something like this.
From ANY PACK, two or three cards are freely selected and initialed. The cards are then put back into the deck and the deck is placed back into the card box. The box is then put on a wooden stand.
You walk away from the deck and the first chosen card rises, and is removed. Now upon your command the second card rises and is removed. All of this happens with you standing at a distance from the stand.
Everything is examinable before and after. This precision made mechanism is without doubt one of the best card rising devices available. Comes complete, ready to work for you. Complete, Cards stand, precision gimmick.

No sticky stuff needed here. No thread hook ups. No batteries needed.
Amazing smooth movement, not to fast not to slow. Can do multiple cards.
No noise, and no vibration.
It's bittersweet, the protection of methods as I feel that if the unit was fully revealed this product may have sold twice as many. Although now I see it as sold out.
I have had no failure or card not rising, it works like a charm.
There some angle issues, I would say 180 -200 degrees your fine. You could hold the box and and increase angles.
But then you are missing the beauty of a hands off rise.
This is a showstopper due to the clean load, smooth slow movement and free display of deck. At no point do you have to attach anything to the cards.
This could easily end up in some Magic Museum as a brilliant display of amazing work.
This for me has solved the rising card plot.
