Fourtunate is a trick where the workings are as much fun as the trick. Here’s what happens:

You draw a prediction on the cellophane of a card case that is not shown to the spectator.

Next, you deal the cards one at a time face up and ask the spectator to stop you as you deal. They can call stop at any point during the deal. They can even change their mind and ask you to continue dealing.

You turn over the card case, your prediction matches the selected card.

It is really that clean.

The method is a wonderful mixture of a special deck of cards and a very clever card case. There’s no complicated sleight of hand at all. The reset is as close to instant as you can get.

And yes, when you move on to the next table, the card can be different.

Comes complete with gimmicked box, special deck and detailed video instructions.

It's a good trick and really makes a good impression on the audience. Easy to perform and almost instant reset. I just think that for the cost it has, a deck of cards can also be included in the package ...

Quite literally one of the best purchases Ive made, thousands and thousands spent before this trick, and I wish it was the first I bought. I would easily pay 5x the price.

This is an ok trick. If you set aside the novelty of the reveal, it boils down to a prediction accomplished with a multiple out. However, unlike many, many variations of this plot which leave you with a clean prediction that can be examined, this (the box) cannot. So if you are really wedded to the idea of writing the prediction on the card case, and are ok not handing the case out for examination, this may be worth your while. If, however, you like the general plot but would prefer ending with a prediction that is examinable, there are many other avenues much more worthy of exploration.

This is one type of ACAAN plot routine.

Pros:
1. Very clean ACAAN. The spectator can really stop anywhere they want. Not like other ACAAN doing math trick.
2. The gimmick is well made. It can last at least 1000 times performance.

Cons:
1. The deck is not examinable. However, the spectator will not want to exam it because they can handle the deck for the whole routine.
2. You can only do one trick with this deck.
3. Since your write something on your tuck case, this may make you look fishy.
