From the creator of “Ultimate Free Choice” comes three new incredible routines.

Alexander Hermann is quickly becoming known as a powerhouse of creative, commercial card magic. His first release, “Ultimate Free Choice,” was an instant sell-out at The Session and Magifest, and we are excited to introduce you to three new, unique pieces of his magic:

Heartless

“Heartless” is a fun and fast card transposition routine with a twist. A card is selected and lost in the pack. The spectator holds an indifferent card under a rubber band in their palm. With a gesture, the card changes—but not into the selection. Instead of their chosen card, the Three of Hearts, it is missing a pip, the Two of Hearts. Alex reveals that the missing pip is stuck to the back of the band on their hand the whole time, completing the transposition and leaving them with a unique souvenir.

Exact Prediction

In “Exact Prediction,” Alex introduces a prediction envelope and a strange deck of cards. Each card was purchased second-hand and has the cost written on the back. After showing the different prices, the audience fairly decides on a single card. The price on the back matches the exact change in the envelope.

Opening Closer

With “Opening Closer,” you get a fantastic, Ambitious Card routine with a surprise ending: the deck transforms and unfolds into a jumbo reveal that is perfect for parlor or even stage!

Purchase them individually, or download the bundle for a killer discount.

Bonus Alex has included his fun ESP routine that uses a version of the “Opening Closer” gimmick that he did at the Session! It's fun to perform and sure to get a good reaction.

Customer reviews for Hermann's Trio

Brandon
Great effect and well taught. The handling is fairly straightforward and easy to do. It does require some arts and crafts. They do mention that part of the arts and crafts requires a skill that many may already know, and for those that don't they have included a video download teaching it. However, that video wasn't included in the download package sent. A search showed that the video is a free download on the VI site so you aren't missing out there. It just would have been good to include it without having to search. I've made VI aware, so hopefully they rectify it for future purchasers.

Heartless by Alexander Hermann is a stunning piece of card magic! The effect feels impossible, yet it’s built on a clever, elegant method that is easy to learn and practical for real-world performances. The video tutorial is crystal clear and packed with valuable insights, making the learning process smooth even for those who want to master every subtlety. This routine hits hard, leaves spectators speechless, and requires minimal setup. Perfect for anyone who wants strong, memorable magic in their repertoire!

  • David asks: I bought all 3 downloads separately. I don't have access to the ESP Prediction video?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:Please email us at [email protected] and we can look into this for you
  • Evan asks: Any chance VI might produce the deck for "Exact Prediction"? It would be great to have a fully-custom deck.

    • 1. Jim responds:No plans yet. Sorry!
  • Chuck asks: Are cards or any other “things” that come with the purchase or is it only the download? Thank you.

    • 1. Thomas responds:It's only the download. All tricks require you to craft a little. All you need is a pen, some sticky tape and glue though. I would say you could prepare the gimmicks for all three tricks combined in 30-40 minutes, Opening Closer being the one requiring the most amount of time.
    • 2. Chuck responds:Thanks, Thomas. Appreciate your help!
