A funny gag transforms into a stunning magical moment.

They choose a card from a shuffled deck. You then show your prediction...it is a Joker. As Jokers are often "wild cards" that can represent any card...there is an audible groan from the audience.

With a wave, you then visually make the Joker morph into a variety of miniature cards strung together. Despite the fact that you have tons of possible chances, they still don't see their card.

Just when all hope is lost, you turn over all the cards at once to reveal an impossible prediction. The name of their card is written on the back.

I've had fun with Just a Joker. Performed it at a few weddings for friends, who seemed to enjoy it. The plot requires some acting, but the reveal at the end is a kicker. It is easy to perform but I wish the tutorial went into more detail on making the switch (from norma Joker to gimmicked Joker, necessary for the move) more convincing. I also wish the gimmick itself was more durable, but given what you see in the trailer video, you'd expect it wouldn't last forever. If you want to perform this for a long time, I'd consider purchasing a backup copy. Otherwise, it's a solid, fun trick that is easily accessible, but I can't see it lasting forever.
