Can the holes be torn into the cards while the spectator observes as in Paul Harris’ version of the linking cards? Or must they pre-torn?

An advanced intermediate could have a spectator choose two cards and then rip them, but even this intermediate would need to spend enough time to learn how to tear the cards. He would still be able to give them away as well. Bill

Can you understand why someone on medication would be slightly confused by this: "You do destroy a card every time but they are not gimmicked. You provide those cards but the gimmick can go onto the normal cards"? And let's say I unlink them and "...hand them both out...to keep as a souvenir"--I'm giving away the gimmick, ne suis-je pas? So do I learn how to make more gimmicks, do I have to buy gimmicks, have I shot my break (so to speak)...or does the gimmick separate from a normal card, unknown to the participant, or...what? You're not giving the gimmick away. The gimmick is stolen out after the routine so that you can give the cards away. You do not have to buy any gimmicks as they come with the routine. They're also pretty easy to make incase you need more.

The gimmick is just what you expect in good magic simple and well LOL you kinda slap your forhead and think why didnt I think of this moment. Pure genius so simple and yet such a strong little illusion to carry as your E.D.C. best part if you ever need to gimmic super simple to replace any HobbyLobby or other such store would have all you need to remake this gimmick. This is perfect for any level of magic you do, honestly again I keep think why the heck didnt I think of this before *chuckle. Good magic but then again I have never seen a clunker yet come from this young French magician.
