I never write reviews. This will be to the point. Anybody who has studied Denis Behr, knows what they’re getting into. This DVD set is everything I could’ve hoped for. Amazing.
None of the content is beginner material. Furthermore, the explanations are very fast. However, if you know who Denis Behr is, and you’re familiar with any of his material, you’ll have no issues.
This is the best DVD set I’ve invested in in years. I couldn’t be happier.

Denis Behr’s Magic on Tap is elementary. The collection of well thought-out pieces reaches in my opinion two peaks; Herbert the Trained Rubber Band and the multi-phase oil & water routine. But it doesn’t go without saying; this is in no way beginner material. If you’re not a friend to the faro shuffle, my advice is to not invest your time in this dvd. But any dedicated memdeck worker will find an oasis of practical and audience-tested card wizardry.

This set of DVD is absolutely great. If you haven't read Mr Behr's excellent books and you are a serious card student, you shouldn't wait and get these DVDs. Mr Behr is a master card magician, he is obviously very clever and his tricks are very well constructed. Even if you know the books, there is a lot of new material, and you might re-discover some tricks that you might have overlooked. The discussion on stack management on its own is very inspiring. This is the kind of DVDs you'll often come back to, and one of the best I ever purchased.

The quality of the DVD’s is really great, Vanishing Inc’s team always do a great work releasing outstanding products.
Denis’ explanations are very clear. The first DVD is a full show performance in a close up theater, including magic that will fool you, and the rest of the DVDs are explanations (the last one includes additional performances in different conditions). If you are into memorized deck magic, watch carefully the PLOP.
Pay attention to all the details, not just the explanations, Denis teaches the why’s of every move, everything is completely justified in a very subtle way. I have to say that this is not for beginners, but don’t let that comment scare you.

i heard of Denis Behr but never got the chance to get his books. his material got many praises from my colleagues i bought the dvd set of their recommendations and it did not disappoint! The routines here are amazing, and super entertaining! Denis and Herbert just got a new fan!

This is my first review. The 17 routines and 6 hours of magic taught to you by a master of card magic are so great. The excellent performances, followed by detailed explanations.This make we will find so easy to learn.
Mr Denis is so smart, funny, skillful, and very tall.The tricks that he teach us are so great.
I think this is a must-have for any serious card magician.Because all you need are in this dvd.This set includes a full evening show in a theater with live audience.

If you want to move your card magic to the next level this is for you!! Alot of the trick need pratice and your sleights of hands need to be on point to make them look good. Its worth the price and the time and effort practicing the effects. I would not recommend this one for a begginer.

Too large extent Denis card magic is just unbelievable. Just for watching the live performance over and over again is reason enough (for me) to own this set. Denis is the living proof that you can entertain a crowd with "just" a deck of cards. However, be aware that learning and performing most his tricks will take some time and dedication.

This si not for beginners, you must have knowledge on moves like side steals, passes, doubles, ribbonspread hideouts, etc.
Denis goes through every detail but rather quickly.
Denis also gives sources where you can find the inspiration for a specific trick or move.
For anyone who is serious about card magic this DVD would be a great purchase.

There is so much to learn from watching Denis Behr perform. There are tons of nuances and psychological tidbits infused within the sleight of hand to present a coherent show. And that is only Disc 1!! Not often we get to watch a 75-min show before diving into explanations.
Denis goes into so much details explaining these pieces. I appreciate the fact that Denis answers the question "why" when he opts to do something in a specific way. Even the choice of effects from the show and how he varies things as he progresses further into his act is insightful and provides food for thought when creating our own acts. And the inspirations and credits shared for the effects make this set great for the student of the art.
This is not a set I would recommend for a beginner. But this is a set I recommend for every card worker looking to take things up a notch or two.

17 hours of great card magic from a master of sleight of hands. Many of the effects comes from his book Handcrafted Card Magic. Now, you are able to see him perform! Only the show (Disc 1) is already worth the price of the DVD set. There is a variety of cards effects for everyone (Beginners or pros). However, you need a little bit of card magic knowledge to be able to follow his explanations. Also, you need to be pretty comfortable with practicing and doing sleight of hands to be able to perform his materials.

Oh yeah, wanted to see mister Behr live for quite some time. Didn't happen. But now you can watch him almost 'live'. And what great material it is. The only problem with this: Will I ever build up the courage, stamina and patience to study the methods and put in all the work that is required. Because he uses methods that are strong (like a memorized deck), builds upon them and creates even more impossible effects. But learning it will take you a lot of time.
So first, sit down and enjoy the show. Then someday get to work!

Denis Behr’s Magic on Tap is one of my favorites. I am biased. I am a card person. This set goes along with Handcrafted Card Magic 1 and 2. Keep in mind that the photographic memory on the DVD is for performance only and in his book. In the DVDs he goes over the techniques and provides insight. It is also cool to see how he structured his show and guides you through a full performance. The tricks flow into each other. With this you will get memorized deck magic, transpositions, and commercial effects that are awesome. I was able to get it at $56 and see sometimes VI has it reduced down during sales. I’ve incorporated Brute Force Opening into my magic Zoom shows and adapted The King Thing to become a staple in my strolling and close-up show. It takes practice to master Behr’s techniques but the results are well worth the effort. It’s worth an investment for serious magicians.

There’s an incredible amount of content here, and I haven’t even watched everything yet. The quality is excellent, and I really appreciate the option to watch or download an SD version, which is perfect for people on the road or with slower internet. Beyond the detailed explanations, it’s fantastic to see him perform for an audience. There’s something in this set for everyone, and while some routines require more advanced techniques, it’s very motivating to learn and improve.
