Wow, this Triumph is super duper clean to watch. No cuts, no shuffles, no funny business. Just a snap of the fingers and the cards right themselves. It's an eye grabbing visual and it gets gasps. It's what magic should be!

I love Dani DaOrtiz's style and especially that he goes into such detail about the psychology of handling this. He gave me everything I needed to be performing this crazy good Triumph.

One of the better methods to come out in many years is Dani DaOrtiz’s Open Triumph, which has now been released on DVD by Groupokaps Studios. A challenge from Juan Tamariz inspired DaOrtiz to come up with a method that can cleanly display the face-up/face-down nature of the pack. Ortiz added a few further goals. He aimed to use normal cards, a genuine shuffle, and displays that simulate the way real people spread through and fan out playing cards. With Open Triumph, DaOrtiz meets every criterion.

  • Ferdian asks: Does the DVD have the same contents as the download version? or only the DVD provides the extra materials?

    • 1. Jim responds:Not 100% sure, as I only have the download version. The download has two videos. The performance video, which is a little over three minutes long. The explanation video is about ten minutes long. It covers the main effect, plus some tips and advice, including a separation of the red and black suits. Given this, I suspect (guess) that the DVD has a more. I hope that helps!
