"Ordered Triumph" is a surprising spin on the classic Triumph plot.

The deck is shuffled face up into face down. They then pick a card and lose it back in the deck, which is shuffled again. The cards are clearly a mess of face-up and face-down cards.

With a wave of your hands, you then make all the cards face the same direction again. Except for one card, their card. As an added kicker, the entire deck is also now in new deck order.

"Order Triumph" is a clean and direct effect that doesn't require any difficult sleight of hand. Since it's designed to match most USPCC playing cards, you can use favorite back design.

  • Rick asks: "Doesn't require any difficult sleight of hand" Does this mean I don't need to perform any perfect faros for this to work? If so, that would be false advertising.

    • 1. Will responds:Would love to know this as well. Certainly looks like faros are needed.
    • 2. Jim responds:As taught, the effect uses three out-faros during the performance. In my opinion, faros are not difficult sleight-of-hand magic. I do eight perfect out faros every morning, after waking up.
    • 3. Marc responds:Indeed this routine requires 3 faro perfect
