One of the best versions of Torn & Restored Card just got even better.

You begin by openly tearing a playing card into four pieces and handing it to your participants. They get to mix the pieces face up and face down, and hand out the pieces to have them marked by four different people. After collecting all the pieces back together, you instantly restore the card. No palming, no difficult sleights. But you don’t restore it the way it came; instead, you restore it with some of the pieces facing different directions, with the torn edges on the outside, and with the signatures fully visible on the card.

This type of impossible object is something that your audience will want to hold onto, remembering you for years to come.

Here’s the best part: Reform 52 isn’t some angle-sensitive, highly impractical pipedream. It is within most magicians’ skill level, is highly practical, and is incredibly affordable!

Reform 52 comes with fifty-two gaffs, one for each card in a regular deck, and a full video tutorial.

Community questions about Reform 52

Have a question about this product? It's possible others do too. Ask here and other Vanishing Inc. Magic customers will be able to respond with assistance! Alternatively, email us and we can help too.

  • Stephane asks: Is it a full card restoration with four pieces attached to all edges? It looks like one edge is dangling in the video.

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:It’s a full restoration, all the pieces are together
  • Jeff asks: how much time does it take to prep each card?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:Prep isn’t necessary but if you wanted to add some convincers this would take a few seconds
  • Elbert asks: For those who have the original, does this contain a new tutorial and performance footage?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:Yes it contains both
  • Jeff asks: are refills available? How much are they?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:Refills aren’t available at the moment, its just this initial pack for sale
  • Jeffrey asks: is it possible to do the Paul Harris torn and restored first then do this?

    • 1. Kyle responds:Are you referring to Ultimate Ripoff? Why would you? In Reform 52, you genuinely tear a card (which the participant's can actual do themselves) which is not something you can do in the Paul Harris routine. Paul's routine contains far more sleight of hand. These two effects are completely different and don't go together in any way.
  • Iftakhar asks: I have the original Reform. Do you still have to prepare each gimmick (edges/middle bits) or are these now fully pre-made? Thanks

    • 1. Curt responds:You have to prepare them.
    • 2. Ansi responds:Do you actually have to assemble each card?
    • 3. Kyle responds:Everything in terms of preparing each gaff is exactly the same as the original release of Beyond Reform. Each gaff has to be folded, corners rounded accordingly and edges scuffed up to resemble torn edges. The only difference is that all 52 cards are now included, not just the court cards, the tutorial video has been reshot and there are new handlings to the routine.
  • John asks: What is the back design of the gaffs? Rider back? Maiden back? Mandolin back?

    • 1. Nick responds:Looking at the image above, I’d say Maiden back.
  • Bill asks: What is the difficulty level of this?

    • 1. Curt responds:Medium.
  • Lexie asks: Do u need refills and if u do are they available

    • 1. Iftakhar responds:If you're giving away cards at the end of the effect, you'll need refills.
  • Yves asks: What is different from the first release in this version?

    • 1. Carlo responds:it's 52 cards instead of 26, all cards are available and not just the court cards. It's part of the trailer.
