Customer reviews for Science Friction

Gary
I purchased Science Friction for an effect I am working on with Double Deckers. VI recommended SF and I think the product is excellent. Easy to apply, ones-sided (important for Double Deckers) and the video is very well done. Highly recommend this when considering a rough/smooth effect.

  • Richard asks: I live in the UK... Will this be allowed to be shipped to me?

    • 1. Jim responds:I'm afraid not. Sorry!
  • brett asks: I bought science friction by Alexander Kolle. I've had it for a long long time. And with time comes misplaced items. I cant find the paper/cardboard template for applying the spray. Is there any way yall could send me a new one? Thanks

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:You would need to contact the manufacturer directly for this type of question.
  • Gary asks: Which is better for Double Deckers: Roughing Fluid or Science Friction?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:Science Friction for sure.
  • John asks: After once buying the whole system that you offer, is there a way to get refills of just the spray?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:Unfortunately not.
  • Curt asks: I see there is a Volume 2 DVD, do you guys carry that or do we order from Card Shark?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:I believe that is exclusive to them.
  • Stanley asks: What is better for roughing cards, Science Friction Spray or the Roughing Stick?

    • 1. Jedidiah responds:I have both. It's not even close. SF works better from the jump, and then RS just loses ground from there. The wax from RS rubs off on other cards, making them sticky and your RS gimmicked card less effective. I sometimes use RS to quickly mock up a proof of concept gimmick while I'm practicing routines with ratty old cards. It's effortless to apply the wax to a card and experiment with alternative handlings for your tricks. But for performances, SF takes it by a mile.
  • Kim asks: Is it possible to buy only the spray anywhere?

    • 1. Sgkyduyen responds:Science Friction - it's available in the US only
  • Tom asks: I have a set of Scoundrels Golden Shells and they are a little difficult to pick up. Will Science Friction help, and will it wear off quickly? Best, Tom tmcdonagh@me.com

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:I wouldn't recommend Science Friction for that purpose. You might consider something like Plastidip for that.
