It's long, long out of stock and there are no plans to remake it that we are aware of.

Can this be done with any deck of cards? Is there a gimmick I need to carry with me?

If you wish the back of your selection to say “Pick Me”, then you have to carry those pre-marked cards (although not exactly a gimmick). If you don’t want those words on the back of the selection, the deck for the stick can be assembled from any two normal decks of cards with different backs.

SLOB stands for Simon Lovell's Oblique Brainwave! In effect, a spectator deals through the deck face up, stopping on a card he feels good about. This card is instantly shown to be of a different color back from the rest of the deck. He can even take the card away as a souvenir if he wishes!

There's no wax, rough or smooth, flaps, or sleight of hand. It's another great, easy Simon Lovell effect.
