“Social Monte Project” by Adrian Vega, known for his appearances on Fool Us, FISM, and the FFF convention, comes a thoughtful and practical evolution of Pepe Carroll’s classic effect.

For the first time, the routine is performed with custom-printed cards featuring social media logos. Instantly recognizable for today’s audiences.

Here’s what happens:

You tell your participant that you’re going to play a game of Three Card Monte. Except this time, it uses more cards.

You spread eight cards across the table. Every single one is completely blank, front and back.

Their job is simple: follow the one card that’s different from the rest. Of course, they’re all identical.

So you take a marker and write your social media handle on one of the blank cards (@vanishingincmagic, for example). Now your participant has a target to follow.

You give the line: “In fact, here are all the places you can follow me.” You snap your fingers and, one by one, you turn all the blank cards over, and each one now displays a different social media logo.

Eight identical blank cards turn into a visual, memorable way to point people to your social media.
