There is no single prop in magic as capable of attributing true magical powers to the practitioner as the Invisible Deck. I (and you) have seen rank beginners blow away the muggles with badly handled, unimaginative routines with the thing. It's one of magic's nuclear weapons.
The "Sure-Split" deck is the latest incarnation of the prop, and it works as advertised. I can work it even with my bone-dry hands.
The use of rough and smooth has always be treacherous for me. In spite of due diligence, it can let you down at the most inopportune times. So while the Sure Split deck has some advantages over other implementations of the Invisible Deck, the chance. of "accidents" is perhaps a bit greater, requiring careful monitoring and occasional reconditioning of the cards.

This is a very nice Invisible deck.
Pros-Well constructed gimmick.
-The way that these are r/s makes them super easy to split.

With very precise handling this deck won't let you down however if you're not careful you may accidentally split at the wrong spot, or split multiple cards. All in all I'm very happy with this purchase.

This is an excellent new version of a very old card trick. This deck makes it so much easier to locate the spectator's thought of card. Spreading the deck to locate the card is so user friendly any magician can find it instantly. So if you use this in your routine pitch the old deck and get one of these. It is amazing. Highly recommended. A+++++++++++++

If you drop the deck, it is extremely difficult to put in back in the correct order. You have to be careful as it is easy to accidentally split at the wrong spot or split multiple cards. Also 4 of my cards will always split no matter how I arrange them.

Very disappointing. This product sounded like the answer to my prayers but so far I struggle to see how it is any better than any other invisible deck. In fact, it seems worse. However gently I fan the cards, some come apart. I expected the instructions to focus more on the easier handling characteristics but there is very little. I know I am very ham fisted but I am precisely who the product is supposed to be for so I feel justified in commenting.

This is the first Invisible Deck I feel comfortable performing with because I feel confident the cards will not separate until I need them to.
I’ve tried sprays and roughing sticks to improve other decks in the past, but this deck doesn’t need any of that.

I purchased two of these recently and another a few months ago from Vanishing. These decks are far superior to the original Vanishing Deck. They are so much easier to use and make the moves that are necessary for this mind-boggling effect. For those of you who have trouble with the original decks as the one that comes with Joshua Jay's Hand Picked Astonishments Invisible Deck (which I purchased) these Sure-Split decks are for you. Highly Recommended. A+++++++++++++++++++++++++
