"This will be trick of the year, no doubt about it" David Jonathan

At first glance, it’s a game show buzzer. But in your hands, it becomes one of the most direct and powerful miracles in modern magic.

Here’s an idea of what you can do with “The Button“: You begin by handing a game show buzzer to a spectator. A card is freely chosen, signed, and lost in the deck. The performer then places his hand over a face-up indifferent card, and the spectator presses the button ding, the performer reveals that the indifferent card has changed to their signed card … But that’s just the beginning. The performer then goes through a series of their card getting lost in the deck, the spectator hitting the Button ding, and the card rises to the top. The card is lost again, they press the button ding, then their card appears under the card box. Then, the card is lost once again, but this time, when they press the button, nothing happens. There’s no ding. The button seems to be broken. The spectator then unscrews the button to reveal a folded-up playing card, but not just any card, that is the spectator's signed card inside that’s been in the spectator's full view the entire time! “The Button” can be used for a variety of different effects, from predictions, Ambitious Card routines, vanishes, switches, and impossible locations. It’s completely customizable. You can even upload your own sounds to match your performance style. The possibilities are endless!

What makes “The Button” extraordinary:

  • Remote control built in. With a hidden controller, you can trigger or stop the reveal with perfect timing. You control the pacing, emphasis, and drama—even though the spectator is holding the button.
  • Over 25 full routines. Craig Petty teaches 25 routines and presentations: from impossible card locations to mentalism. You get a full toolkit of handling, routines, and subtleties.
  • Complete sleight section. Regardless of experience, there’s a full section dedicated to the sleights and moves you’ll need, explained clearly by Chris James, with tips you can apply immediately.
  • Designed and built by Joao Miranda. Precision-engineered and performance-ready.

This isn’t a gimmick—it’s a system for miracles!

See what the pros are saying:

"An impossibility wrapped in an impossible-to-forget visual. This ticks the boxes (and rings the bell)." David Regal

"Almost all Mystery Box effects have the same problem... the box has no reason for being there other than the reveal. The Button solves this in the most entertaining, engaging, and brilliantly clever way that I've seen." Lloyd Barnes

"This is GOLD" Henry Harrius

"BEST version of this plot by FAR!" Kyle Purnell

"I genuinely think this is one of the most novel ideas I've seen in magic for a while. FANTASTIC!" Eric Stevens

"Congratulations, Chris, on what I believe will be the trick of the year." Dave Loosley

Customer reviews for The Button

Peter
Wow....absolutely wow!!!! I had lower expectations of the quality build of this thing and boy, I was wrong! It is very well made. It is very sturdy, not just a simple 3d printed gimmick but a well thought out, well constructed and well designed piece of equipment. The carrying case is an additional bonus - it will defiantly keep the Button safe in any travel case. It was well worth the price!!!
Gerhard
This is a fun product to introduce into your magic and excellent way to get the audience to participate in the magic. The product is really well made and seems to stand the test of time. Very cleverly made as well. The soft shell case is fantastic and keeps everything really well contained. The tutorial is fantastic and Craig Petty is once again fantastic in creating ideas for this product. I love this product it's one of the nicer magic releases for 2025.

  • Rick asks: The response to the question about being able to change the sound in the same route ( a positive ding and negative dong) was not at this time. Are there any plans on making this a possibility?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:There are no plans to add 2 separate sounds
  • Christopher asks: Does this require the Mercury Card Fold? Because I stink at it. ??

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:Yes but Craig teaches ways to do this where you can just fold the card without the usual mercury card fold
  • Josh asks: How easy is this? What do i need to know how to do other than mercury fold?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:It's pretty easy, and everything is taught in the project, so you don't need to know anything beforehand, but it will take some practice.
  • Thomas asks: Can it be customized to any brand of cards? Or is it only red Bicycle cards as shown in the trailer.

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:Yes!
  • Juri Pierre asks: Can you change the sound effect with the remote in the SAME PERFORMANCE ? For example can you use the button as a lie detector? If they say the truth ==> DING If they lie ==> DONG

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:Not at this time
  • Juri Pierre asks: What is the reset time when doing the card to button, folded in quarters, in table hopping?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:Very quick reset!
  • Evan asks: Is the remote the only way to trigger the sound? It would be ideal to have the button itself be functional - the sound happens when someone pushes it.

    • 1. Daren responds:The sound comes from pressing the button, the remote can be pressed to stop the sound and start the sound again
  • Michael asks: Just checking, is The Button big enough to play for a stage? I like it, but I am thinking of incorporating this into a stage routine and am concerned it might be too small.

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:Yes you could!
  • Diego asks: Can we get a video demo please?

    • 1. Diego responds:https://youtu.be/Lp2COvON4Nc
