Picked this up to get a Robson Roughing Stick, thought there might be a few good ideas on the DVD. I seriously underestimated just how much great content there would be! It opens up the possibilities for your gaff-deck arsenal and is a great primer on making your own rough/smooth decks, whether you use the super-convenient stick or old-school spray. You’ll possibly want to order a Roughing Stick when they’re back in stock, depending on how much roughing you plan to do - the included stick is a “sample” size, a bit less than half the size of a full stick. That’s still enough to make 50-plus decks, but there’s a lot of great ideas on this DVD you’re going to want to play around with, plus there’s the fact that a roughing stick can be used to “revive” a worn-smooth-from-use rough/smooth deck made from spray!
