Blowing minds is guaranteed with Spidey’s unique evolution of an all-time classic. This is the perfect opener!
“Tidal Wave” has been Spidey’s go-to walkaround opener for over a decade, and now it can be yours too. Using just four cards, this amazing trick combines magic and mentalism in a way that will knock every audience to the ground.
Spidey has blended his innovative approach to Max Maven’s “B’Wave” with Vernon’s iconic “Twisting the Aces” effect to create a simple, direct, and powerful routine that gets huge reactions. It is super practical, takes up no pocket space, and is simple to do. One beginner-level sleight-of-hand move is all you need.
Holding a packet of court cards in your hand, you magically make each one turn face up one at a time. All of the cards are then turned face down as you prepare to take things to the next level. For an amazing finale, one of the cards is going to turn over again. But, this time, it will be one that they name! After they make their choice, with no funny moves or sleight of hand, you spread the cards to show their named card turned face up.
“Tidal Wave” comes with specially-gimmicked cards and complete instructions offering two different super fooling and entertaining handlings. As is the case with everything Spidey releases, no detail has been overlooked. You'll learn everything you need to get the most out of this incredible routine.
This easy-to-do effect packs a big punch. Each phase gets better and better as you build toward a stunning finale. It also resets in seconds, making it perfect for everyone from working pros to hobbyists and even beginner magicians.
Instantly add a tsunami of amazement to your set with “Tidal Wave” by Spidey.

Tony asks: Are the cards examinable?
- 1. Steve responds:"comes with specially-gimmicked cards" Doesn't sound like they are.
- 2. Bedros responds:Tough question. You can’t hand them all 4 cards when you’re done but you can display them extremely fairly. Also note that throughout the routine they see the front and back of every single card one at a time so they really don’t feel the need to examine them. There are way too many fair displays for them to suspect anything.
- 3. Barbara responds:It says comes with five cards. Does it end with 4? Just wondering how ace assembly switches would work and if they are necessary. Thanks!
- 4. Barbara responds:To end examinable, I mean.
- 5. Steve responds:It comes with four cards (I just bought the trick).
Ken asks: Can a beginner without sleight of hand skills learn this easily?
- 1. Steve responds:"One beginner-level sleight-of-hand move is all you need."
