From the constantly-creative mind of Mickael Chatelain, welcome to "Trisection"—a portable, close-up version of The Zig-Zag Lady!

You draw two lines on a regular playing card, giving it three sections. Right in front of your audience's eyes, you visually, instantly, can push up the middle section, just like the classic illusion, but with no box or cover!

Of course, you can't leave the card in that state, so you push the middle section back in, and immediately hand the card out for examination without a switch. It's 100% regular card!

  • Super-easy to do
  • No sleight of hand
  • 100% ordinary card
  • Instant reset
  • Incredible visuals

  • James asks: I got mine but the gimmick is blue can I get a red set as shown in the ad?

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:Please email wizards@vanishingincmagic.com and someone will take care of you.
  • Jim asks: Can you use different face cards ? K And give the card away.

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:yes any face card can be used, and the card can be given away
  • Todd asks: Is he feigning drawing the lines? It would be more appealing if the card were laid down on a table and a straight edge were used to draw the lines. It strains credulity to draw such straight lines free hand. Can the card be laid on a table and lines drawn with a straight edge?

    • 1. Joseph responds:Todd, I agree that it strains credulity to draw such straight lines freehand. That was my instant thought upon seeing the card immediately after he supposedly drew the lines on the card freehand. So the question to the creator is: Will an updated version of the gimmicked card look more like the lines were drawn freehand?
  • Eric asks: Is this ready to go out of the box.and will I have to switch d.L ect..?thanks eric,

    • 1. Vanishing Inc. Magic responds:Yeah this is ready to use straight away
  • Kevin asks: I am assuming (not asking to disclose the secret) that the pre-made gaff is built using the middle section of a red queen. If so, since there are two red queens in a standard deck, you will need to get yourself a red queen one-way forcing deck if you want to leave the card with the spectator. If you don't hand it out and re-use it, you would have to remove the ink? Will you need a deck of red queens to hand this out? Thanks, Kevin
