- 1. David Matkin responds:This is the finale to an ambitious card routine. During the routine you could have the deck shuffled and they can see the whole deck. The "heat" should be off the deck come the end of the routine. But if you wanted to hand out the deck wrapped in rope for inspection....well don't do that.o think that answers your question. But come the end of a routine where multiple audience members handle the card and deck there really should not be any need to. If you absolutely felt you had to hand it out at end of the routine you would need to do a d#ck sw#@£h.
