Card to Wallet should be a staple in any walkaround performer's repertoire. It's one of the strongest things you can do with a signed card and always gets a strong reaction.
The problem? Almost all of the gimmicked wallets available look like crap.
However, we surveyed some of the top performing close-up magicians we know and asked them what Card to Wallet they used the most. It was no surprise to us that the majority of performers used Steve Draun's Real Man's Wallet.
Unlike most gimmicked wallets, this one looks pretty normal. It isn't stupidly big and isn't made from cheap leather. It's the kind of wallet that you would use every day (and many of our friends do just that), yet has a secret gimmick that allows you to perform one of the most impossible effects in card magic.

This is the best wallet out there! I use mine all the time, in my professionnal work and in real life too! What else can I say? It's easy to load and it looks just like your real wallet... No brainer. I wasnt dissapointed.

Just got this over Vanishing Inc. This is something that you can use as a real wallet that you can bring everyday. That's how real it is! The load is very deceptive and easy to do. And I really mean it! I had issues with some of the other wallets for having a tight or difficult load (especially when you're in jeans) but this one is a sure winner.

I've got a few "magic" wallets, and I have to say that this is by far my favourite. It doesn't have as many routines attached as do the Heirloom Wallet or the Espionage Wallet, but generally I only do a Card to Wallet, and not all of that other stuff anyway ... I use this wallet as my everyday wallet and it means that I can do a "card" to wallet effect impromptu without even having a deck of cards about my person.
Who uses one of those Mullica style wallets anyway? It's all about the hip wallet; and who want's to carry around a second wallet specifically for doing some magic? There's no need with this puppy.
Next pay day, I'm getting another for when this one wears out, which I imagine won't be for a number of years because the workmanship is excellent. After a few days in your pocket, the leather becomes so supple.

I carry it every day as my regular wallet, and I know that I am always ready to perform one of the most devastating card effects for laymen..,signed card to (seemingly) impossible location. The load with this wallet is quick and easy, and I highly recommend it. To help easily guide the card to its destination, I use an idea that Darwin Ortiz suggests, a rectangular piece of black celluloid/plastic that sits in the wallet, simply pulled out a half inch beyond the wallet when you are about to perform. It gives you an easily-felt path for the load, and once pushed into the wallet, behind the loaded card, it is invisible (aka black art) as the card is slowly removed from behind the "ID card window"

Best bang for your buck wallet. Loading is easy and I keep business cards in it too. It currently resides in my back pocket as an actual wallet.

This is a really great wallet! Although It's not perfect to load in you backpocket. For easy load with little hussle I ended up doing a get ready by pulling out the wallet half way when they where signing the card. Having a card as a guide wasn't very reliable becase it sometimes came undone. Maybe the card work better as a guide if you don't use the wallet as your every day wallet.
To reveal a card in wallet like this one feels completely amazing. I love the tension before the reveal. The opening happens in three steps and wich if you do them right they increases the tension in a really nice way. It get's a great response! I love it!

This has been my everyday wallet now for probably 3 years. It's a genuinely nice and real man's wallet. The secret loading slot is so very convenient in everyday situations. I keep my driver's license and insurance cards in it. When needed, I open my wallet, unsnap the flap and remove them as normal. I can then close my wallet. When handed back I simply slide them in the slot and they're back to their original spot. This way I don't have to keep my wallet open while waiting nor fumbling putting them back in. In more crowded places I put the wallet back into my pocket where it's safe. When I retrieve my cards it's easy to insert them into the slot and wallah, already in the window of my wallet that's already in my pocket. I bought my brother one for these reasons, he's not a magician. He loved it and is still using it.

Absolutely amazing!! I myself cannot say that I own other magic wallets, but this one is pure excellence. The "play" for this trick is fast and relatively easy. I have been recently performing this trick to my friends and the reactions are priceless! At first, I was skeptical but found this trick to be not exactly difficult. I will say that this is not a trick meant for beginners. I myself am comfortable with palming or coping a card, so I found this trick doable. Within the first 15 minutes of practice in a mirror, I felt like I was doing "Real Magic." If I had other magic wallets in my possession, I would nevertheless say that the "Real Mans Wallet" is a great one out there! Other than the "play" of the wallet, the material of the wallet is made from what I consider nice leather. The feel of the wallet is smooth and feels like genuine leather. Because the "Real Mans Wallet" looks like it could be your everyday wallet, nobody ever suspects that the wallet is gimmicked in any way. Overall, I would definitely recommend this wallet to anyone interested in upping the level of their magic. Without a doubt 5 stars!!!

Its not quite versatile enough for me but this a very well made wallet! The construction is incomparable! and definitely worth the price tag. It is a good for Every Day Carry as long as you don't carry much stuff in your wallet. As far as a card to wallet goes I would have to say its one of the best of the best! However, if you're a wallet heavy performer (which I am) it doesn't have much room for other effects. Forget about doing "Kolossal Killer" if you're going to carry this wallet. It just doesn't have enough spaces for KK much less B'Wave, 1 dollar transpo, Sujan Location PLUS my everyday needs.

I just received my Real Man's Wallet and I must say this is a thing of beauty. The leather is soft, supple and real. Very nice. It holds three credit cards, my drivers license, two thin insurance cards, several business cards, and a small amount of cash (several 20s fit in quite nicely).
The design is brilliant. Super easy to load a business card. Pretty easy to cop/palm a playing card and slip into the wallet behind my license in a snapped enclosure (really nice, well made and deceptive).
It is now ready to be my EDC wallet and ready to perform two really cool effects at a moment's notice.

Oh wow - this really exceeded my expectations. The waller is really well made and the loading works really well. The tutorial is excellent. I am super stoked getting a wallet (at last) that is high quality and works really well. I prefer this way better than the FPS wallet which i really struggled with. I cannot recommend this more. It also is the best option (one of the best options) to carry as a every day wallet. The price is also remarkably low for such a high quality product.

The wallet itself is really well made. I like it that the revelation is in the ID windows. However, it just seems to me a little to tight, so it is not that smooth to load the card without any traditional "help" (which is not included by the way). While you can use it as your regular wallet, I like to have it as my performance wallet so that I preserve it, and only carry what I need for presentations, such as other packet tricks.

I love this wallet. The loading mechanism works so well for being so simple, and this wallet works perfectly with effects such as Jason Ladanye’s “Catch Me if You Can” (Game Changer, p. 57) or Jon Armstrong’s Three Blank Monte. This wallet doesn’t have a lot of room for packet tricks, but that doesn’t warrant knocking off a star. Overall, great quality wallet, good loading mechanism, great buy altogether.

This is the second of this wallet that I get. It’s a single trick pony if you know what I mean but for what it does, I think it’s the best of all. You really can’t miss!
The quality is superb and you can carry a crazy amount of stuff in it (extra cards, gimmicks, etc. - you can carry a full show with just the wallet and a deck of cards).
The only disappointment is the video that comes with it. It’s very short and not much detail on different ways to set and use the wallet.
That aside, it’s a great everyday wallet. You’ll love it!

I have carried the real man's wallet for at least 6 years. It holds up incredibly well and the ctw is very very easy to accomplish. I've only recently had the plastic window in front of the ID slot rip but I'm sure that easily replaceable. Other than having some signs of being an every day carry (and every day use) item, it functions the exact same as the day I bought it. Very well made product.

This is a great utility prop. Ive had fun with this but there is one setback. The load can be pretty difficult though if you are wearing suit pants or sweatpants, really any loose style of pants.

Great quality! This can be your wallet if you want it to be. Personally, I wouldn't carry a wallet of this size but I also don't carry a ton of cash. The load for this is ingenious. Plus, you get Gregory Wilson's routine for making a business card or credit card appear in the compartment. It can be done with any flat, object including a signed coin which is a wonderful climax to any coin routine. Super visual and feels particularly impossible. I could not recommend this enough.
